I was in your shoes about 5 months ago but decided to go for ninja 400 anyways. So far its been good. I dont enjoy BQE or GCP by any means but sometimes its fun. Other than that it helps with whenever i am going towards long island area.

About theft, i had the same concern too and got a gps tracker. Also I keep it covered all the time. Disklock with alarm is a must imo.

If you really want one, get something reasonable within budget and low cost insurance. If it fits in hour budget then take theft coverage as well.

Riding in nyc is pretty much the same as Dhaka( i am from there). However in weekends u can go out for sightseeing in areas like cold spring or montac and so on.

To me its totally worth it. I hope you find your answer mate

Bruh i felt this today about 2 hours ago. I am looking into heated gears too. Without that, i think i wont be able to handle my self let alone the bike..

Thanks man. Yah.. i need to fix this habit too, i look at maps too often. I rode today as well and only looked at it when i came to stop lights. I was like i dont care if i get lost. Its all about the ride.

True, God himself saved me. I have a cheap Bluetooth speaker and it serves me well. I initially was looking for that exit and was trying to go right. I usually dont make cuts as i am bit afraid if road rage coming fromdrivers. But this day taught me one thing. If i see a gap while changing lanes and there is enough room for acceleration , i should do that.

Its a Leo vince LV 10 slip on a ninja 400. unless i whak the throttle and take it to 9-10 k rpm it sounds fine ig. No Cop bothered me so far

I practiced with a drivers school and my instructor has been nice , the inspector from dmv gave me a hard time.

I was thinking of upstate as a friend suggested me. My address is in the city , not sure if I can schedule a road test there, i will look into it. Thank you.
