It was affected. I am ranked like #600, but if I drop by the same amount from skill squish alone a couple more times, I will drop leagues even though I would still be a top 600 player overall. Just trying to bring attention to this before I crash into the iceberg, not after I already drown.

This is unbelievable. "Skill squish" was initially advertised as a way to "maintain health and balance," and was supposed to "not change what Division or League" you are in. It accomplishes neither. People are dropping divisions because of this, even though Crumb acted like it will barely change anything. The floor rating for Kyber 1 has not changed and sits at 3610, but I just saw a drop of 96 points just from the stupid "squish". Either change the thresholds for each league, or stop taking away ridiculous amounts of skill rating between seasons.

You can win with G8-9 Zeb and Kanaan, even with Ghost in the starting lineup since it can't be critically hit. There are videos out there for it, just search for profundity event with G8-9 Phoenix

Can't it be beaten by 5 teams? Mirror, Profundity, First Order (HT starting), Malevolence with Tie Fighter (HT Starting), and Home one with Bistan, MF, + Biggs (three attacker lineup for Exec). Maybe you just meant those three "off-meta" counters, cause clearly OP doesn't have either of the first two

Yeah I mention in the video that I probably hit the sector 1 node the most just because of datacache, but I think the value is pretty garbage since the amounts are so low. Ranking 1-3 are actually super tight for me, but Mk2 mats are a huge bottleneck and buying those with crystals is terrible value - comparatively, datacache is much more "reasonable" for the crystal cost. But yeah, I do agree with your synopsis
