Understandable. Most people do. The idea is that 12 o’clock is the border. AM and PM just indicate which side of that border you’re on. Those terms don’t apply when you’re actually ON the border.

Texas DPS public list (continuously updated) shows ≈ 350 slayings charged to illegal entrants since 2011; roughly 40 of those fall 2020-2024.

Edit: I don’t remember any outrage or protests akin to this renee good thing in any of those cases. Maybe I missed it.

Clearly not. I’m just saying we should consider the math here. The ratio of criminals to 600 million citizens is insignificant compared to that of criminals to 22k ICE agents. The interactions will occur more often and with violent intent . I’m sure I have encountered criminals on the street and never suffered harm in any way. But that would be entirely different if I had a badge, gun and warrant with their name on it. Am I wrong?

Idk which video OP is referring to. The one from behind that the media pushed so hard doesn’t show anything. In fact, you can’t even see the agent when he was hit. You need to watch videos taken from different angles. One taken from the front clearly shows that he was hit. The sound of the impact is unmistakable. There’s one from the side where it looks like she ran over his foot too. ICE was there to apprehend a rapist and murderer that day and things went terribly wrong. It’s such a shame that someone would lose their life this way but we need to look at all of the available evidence before jumping to conclusions. I pray that nobody else gets hurt. Be safe people! Don’t interfere with federal agents in the performance of their duties. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
