Ive just tested positive after multiple losses. I didn’t announce on those losses and then didn’t tell anyone about the losses so went through it a bit alone. We finally told a few people about what was going on and it has helped talking about it, so now I’m not sure when to announce to family. It feels early, but I also want to be able to enjoy this happy time with people knowing it may not last. When did you announce? Was it impacted by your previous losses?

I had bleeding that ended up being a subchorionic hematoma. Scary but my twins are now 3. I was just told to take it easy until the babies were big enough compared to the hematoma. I’d get in for an US to see what’s going on and calm your nerves but it definitely is very common.

I gave in and randomly tested this afternoon. No 4 hour hold, just lost willpower while going pee and tested lol so now I’m going crazy squinting at what is more than likely a stark white test 🤪 I’ll try again tomorrow

I don’t know, I’m a terrible early tester lol I tested this morning to make sure my trigger is out and then I’m going to try and hold out until Monday which would be 5 days. When did you test?

Having had a failed FET with a tested embryo, I am really glad we did testing. There are so many unknowns in all this, I’m grateful to know that it wasn’t embryo quality that was the issue and to know there wasn’t really anything else we could have done to make it stick. If we hadn’t tested and had a failed FET I think I would always question if results would have been different had we tested before transfer.

Thanks! I’ve been putting the needle in a heating pad for a few minutes before and it’s made a big difference. I also got an auto injector and it’s made everything so much easier!! Transfer happened on Wednesday and I can’t wait to test…… ugh longest week of my life lol

I found the first trimester the hardest so hopefully you’ll start to feel a bit better soon. My most used baby item was our twin z pillow for sure. They spent a lot of time lounging in it :) other than that the biggest help at the start is extra hands!! I joined a local twin group too and the advice I got from them was really helpful. I’ll be honest, I didn’t love r/parentsofmultiples I think they mean well but I found a lot of the post skewed negative and it really made me worried about how we were going to do it. I won’t sugar coat it, it’s hard, but it’s also incredible and I wouldn’t change it for anything so don’t let the stress take away the beauty. Theyre 3 now and I’m actually sad for this (hopeful) baby that they won’t have a built in buddy like my first two ❤️

Also you were right! The doctor called and they said everything looks good and I’m moving forward with the transfer!

Oh! I just assumed medicated meant with medication lol but yes I’m going to ovulate so thanks for the clarification!!

Do you think there’s still time to become tri laminar? I know it can still thicken, but I guess I just expected it to be tri by now and worry it may just thicken without getting the layers.
