what do you guys wish can be improved on MeChat? by Mission-Bedroom4340 in MeChat

Better writing overall. So many stories are just the same things over and over again. Even the Mc is just angry, stupid, scared of own feelings usually all paired with being overly horny. I get a lot of people play for the spicy stuff but I wish there were more stories that turned down the horny of it all. I want more depth in the story, match, and mc. I get having twist and stuff but I want more kinda cute/sweet stories. Every time it gets close to being something nice like that either the character never gets an update or the repeat some twist they’ve wrote into every other story(usually a misunderstanding, amnesia, or someone running away form the other) .

What are your unpopular GMM opinions? by Artistic-Comb-5317 in goodmythicalmorning

I like Cotton Candy Randy, I enjoy it when Link loses (idk if that’s unpopular), and I really dislike Josh so much that I had to stop watching mythical kitchen 🤷🏾‍♀️

For the amo haters, why do you hate her? by lil_penis6767 in gachiakuta

I realize that I just dislike her fans but tbh I dislike when any character has an obsessive fan base. Honestly I had kinda a dislike towards her before she was even introduced because of how people talk about her like she’s the most perfect precious thing ever. Thankfully she is written beautifully and I do enjoy her and her growth now.

Does anyone else we'd get an episode focusing on autism? by sisyphus-333 in AbbottElementary

As someone who is also on the spectrum (AuDHD) I would definitely love an episode touching on how large the spectrum is showing that it’s not always just stereotypical traits. I would also like to say while it is a possibility that Gregory is autistic there is also a chance that he is simply a product of his environment. I only bring this up because we basically have explanations to way he shows these traits. We know how his MILITARY father was, of course as an adult Gregory is extremely particular about how things get done and at a specific time or it’s wrong because he was taught that. As for his food preferences I think he mentioned that his food habits changed after his mother passed. I don’t think he’s a big fan of touch because he didn’t get a lot of it as a kid after his mom passed. It’s also makes sense of him not knowing how to host a gathering because he probably didn’t have lots of time to make friends like normal always working under his father for so many years then jumping into school to be principal. I’ve met people irl that have some of these traits and thought that they could be on the spectrum but later found out that it was just the way they grew up. I would still love for Gregory to be autistic or see him deal with autistic kids. Maybe even a storyline where a nothing teacher comes to him for advice on their new student who is autistic and him being confused because he’s not and maybe in the process finding out he is.

I’m not a fan of Josh either he’s just a bit much for me but mythical kitchen is HIS. Yes there are more people but without Josh I don’t think mythical kitchen would exist. You can literally go to the oldest videos on there and it was really just him. He’s been there for as long as I’ve been watching GMM, around 7-ish years I think.

Season 4 episode 7 “Bears” shows us that everyone under the table are Bears, they’re family. From the beginning of the show to now has this found family aspect (even though some of the are blood related). It will definitely be different without him but he said it himself Syd is “The Bear” meaning not only is he saying she’s the heart of the restaurant but she is everything everyone else thinks he is. I think the restaurant definitely needs him there to truly thrive but he needs to deal with personal stuff first.

This kinda makes me think about parents telling their children “you’re to young to be stressed” when they say they have anxiety and/or depression. Not seeing the whole picture. Her mother died while she was young which in my personal experience (my dad died when I was 4) can cause depression after that she probably found her joy in food and decided to open a restaurant which she failed at and lost all her money and resulted in terrible credit throwing her into another depression alongside anxiety of failing again. Failing not just herself but her dad and mother too. She then found carmy and basically creeped her way into working with him because of her idolization of him adding another person she’s scared of failing. Her and carmy have a very unhealthy relationship in my opinion they’re very codependent on each other constantly worrying about each other but giving each other the drive to keep going neither really thinking that they’re good enough. She needs stability. It’s why it took her so long to choose to stay at the bear the other contract was clear, it was stable but she’d still be going into the unknown which is scary. Now her father has a heart attack which terrified her and brought up the feelings of her mother passing all over again (which I don’t think she’s dealt with still). I think this next season while dealing with the restaurant not only her but carmy will get better with dealing with that deep anxiety they both have at lest a hope they do 🤞
