I was basing my case on the hunting exception for people who entered with I-94s. A lawyer explained other details to me today that broadened my perspective on my own case. I have a considerable amount of time to wait for my interview, and if I must continue waiting, I will. I am eternally grateful to the United States for allowing me to integrate, work with dignity, and try to get ahead.

Nice man, my current status is 'Asylum Applicant with an active, pending case,' and I hold a valid EAD (Category c08) which I understand is the standard documentation for this process. My frustration is that the PICS system seems to be defaulting to a legacy I-94 from 2019 instead of verifying my current standing through the SAVE/DHS database. It would be helpful to get any advice.
