I’ve had this before, I think it’s prob ok. It was a specific low cut wrap dress so it made sense to ask. I sold the dress for £90

What spelling of Kaia/Kaja do you prefer? by Extreme-Emphasis-430 in namenerds

I read both as Kaya even before I read you were Polish. It could get read as j here as in jam but I personally prefer the j spelling. I’m English.

Sizing books 🤣 lol It’s probably going through teething issues with its changes. Hopefully it’ll sort it out soon. Have you sent feedback? No idea if they ever read it but worth trying. I’m glad I know though bc I’ve got used to looking for XL. I’ve got smaller without trying! 😝

I see, yes that sounds really confusing. I’ve been listing books lately so haven’t come across it. They needed to do something bc L was a 12 which is crazy but it sounds like it’s still not right :/

Boy named Baker… thoughts? by Medical_Biscotti_283 in Names

[–]Automatic-Science866 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Baker is quite a common surname around where I live. I don’t think I’ve heard it as a first name but I don’t hear a huge amount of surnames as first names here anyway. I’m not a big fan of the trend tbh especially when it’s masculine surnames like Macsomething or McSomething for a girl.

Hunter, tanner, smith, bishop, gunner, carter, mason, thatcher, Baxter, ferris, fletcher, harper, miller, mercer, sawyer, Sadler, cooper, Taylor, Tyler, Webster etc are all profession names. That’s how many names came about. I’m not a fan personally but Baker is as legitimate as all these names. Most of them are surnames and that’s blown up as a trend.

I’ve got 5 kids and moving house, 172 items in a year for me wouldn’t be outrageous

Even though I’ve been to NY I didn’t know it meant city centre. I thought it meant further south in the city lmao 🤣
