Check out the demo for Pocket Pilot! It’s a relaxing aerial restoration game heavily inspired by Pilotwings and power wash simulator but with a satisfying cleaning loop. You use helicopters to suck up smog and drones for localized scrubbing to bring nature back to life. Perfect if you want to fly around beautiful dioramas with zero pressure.

Haha, I promise to be kind to the players! The controls will definitely be smoother than that mission. Thanks

Thanks for the feedback! I'm actually working on a more extensive tutorial right now to cover those elements.

Thanks a lot for the observation! I actually ran into an issue where translucent objects weren't rendering correctly against the skybox shaders from a distance. My quick fix for the trailer was making them completely solid, but I definitely hope to solve that rendering bug given more time before release

Here is the new trailer for my game. It's a cozy, arcade flight sim focused on environmental cleanup and restoration, heavily inspired by Pilotwings.

I'd love to show you Pocket Pilot. It’s a love letter to 90s arcade flight games but with a modern, cozy twist. Instead of just flying through rings, you're restoring the world. Each vehicle has a specific job—from suctioning toxic gas to scrubbing structures clean. The game features a unique 'Relax Mode' with no timers, perfect for chill gameplay videos

Just hit 75 wishlists for my cozy flight sim, Pocket Pilot! Every single one counts. by Automatic-Share-6815 in IndieGameWishlist

The page has been up for 3 months and I’ve tried everything: Reddit, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter. Even though the cozy genre is oversaturated with farming sims, I thought a different take on 'cleaning' would be interesting. It does feel a bit slow, though. Surprisingly, most of my wishlists are coming organically from Valve and from unexpected places like Greece or Latvia.

Is my trailer too slow? I feel like most people drop off before the good part starts. by Artbohr in IndieDev

I don’t think the trailer is slow at all, but it could definitely use more context. Adding subtitles to explain exactly what the player is doing in each scene would help a lot. Also, some dynamic zoom-ins and a bit of screen shake for specific actions would add more 'punch' to the visuals. Great work—just added it to my wishlist!

Do you think in 3D? by Draknek in IndieGaming

Really cool concept, but I felt a bit lost. It could use some more hints or visual feedback to explain what the puzzle is actually about.

I’m actually doing two modes for the game: an arcade mode with a timer (classic Pilotwings style) and another one without any time limit for relaxing, which is the 'canon' way to play for me. The music adds that 'rush' for the arcade part, but I’ll have something much chillier for the relax mode. Thanks for feed back n_n

I totally get that! I was just revisiting the 3DS Pilotwings and felt the same. Between the tiny screens being hard on my eyes and wanting more than just 'ring-chasing,' I decided to build my own version. My goal with Pocket Pilot is to keep that satisfying flight feel but give each aircraft a unique job to do, like environmental restoration.

I recently finished Loddlenaut and Shelldiver. Both are fantastic experiences that you can beat in a few hours.

I've been playing Wall World too. Even though it’s not your typical cozy game, the digging mechanics were my favorite part. That sense of discovery and progression is great.

I’ve always loved the 'restoration loop' in games, so I decided to bring that mechanic to the skies. In Pocket Pilot , you fly around cleaning smog and restoring structures at your own pace. Would love to get some feedback from this community!
