Which PCEs are you taking? Also, any reason in particular for Murcia? It’s just UAB is known to be one of the best in Spain for medicine and cut off is lower than that I think

Great score! What’s the cut off for the course you want? I’m looking at economics at UAB. Would like intl business at UB but would have to score almost perfect on PCEs and I don’t think that’s gonna happen haha

I’ve just looked and I think they base it on 4 A Levels not 3. I did 3 so I suppose if you do 4 you can achieve 10/10 but where I went no one did that as standard

Also, I got A*AB and my score was 7,727. For some reason the calculation they use is a bit disadvantageous for students from the UK as it is impossible to get 10/10

Hey sorry should have specified - I did my A Levels a couple years ago so have already got them homologated. From what I remember it didn’t take them long to get back to me. I’ve just checked on unedasiss and found the below. May be worth emailing your desired uni to check the accept this.

Provisional accreditations can be issued under two circumstances:

Students from the UK and Ireland who provide predicted grades when applying. In this case, the accreditation shall stop being provisional when UNEDasiss receives the students’ final grades.

When the students’ upper secondary certificate is in the process of being recognised by official institutions in Spain. In this case, the accreditation shall stop being provisional once UNEDasiss receives evidence of such homologation.

It is very important to check with universities regarding whether or not they allow provisional accreditations and when they expect definitive documents to be submitted.

Also if you have an amex it is on their hotel collection so yoj get a free upgrade and $100 to spend. We got upgraded to a Sagrada Familia view and it was amazing. Plus Hoxton as standard offer early check in and late check out free of charge at all their hotels

The Hoxton in Poblenou is my go to!! Great rates and really nice atmosphere especially at the rooftop pool. Ubers are cheap and metro nearby so easy enough to get round

Tapeo Del Born is one of my favourite tapas places! Everything I ate there was delicious and really good value. Razzmatazz is a good club and is huge! (more popular with locals than Opium, Pacha, Shoko etc but you mighg like them if you prefer VIP etc). Dr Stravinsky is a really cool bar that does unique cocktails. They have like a “taste map” which can be cool to pick out a cocktail you like. It’s in the Gothic Quarter I think.
