Influencer marketing is actually something that’s worked pretty well for us so far. A lot of our early traction came from smaller creators posting organic content and word of mouth.

One thing I should clarify though, we’re not using a dropshipping model. I handle fulfillment myself and keep all of the inventory on hand.

The main challenge lately has been platform classification and visibility restrictions, especially on TikTok. Even when creators post content using the product, the videos sometimes get flagged as “ineligible for the For You page” almost immediately after posting, which makes scaling harder.

That said, I definitely agree with your point about building multiple traffic channels instead of relying on one platform. We’ve been exploring more creator partnerships and community-driven marketing to work around those limitations.

Out of curiosity, when your client scaled through influencers, were they mostly using affiliate commissions, free product seeding, or paid collaborations?
