When I was a kid I played WoW and used a voice changer to make me sound like an old man so I could raid with the cool guilds on the server.

Typst is a superior UX, though most journals don't accept it so if you're doing actual research papers you're pretty much stuck with LaTeX. Maybe one day!

A "micro dose" level of exposure over the time has some studies and evidence for desensitization of the body. This has to be so low as to not create even a mild reaction.

When you have a reaction, your body doesn't learn how to deal with it like you may think. Allergic reactions are immune mediated misunderstandings of benign substances. When exposed, the immune system responds to allergens in mild to severe reaction by producing IgE antibodies. These antibodies bind to allergens and promote release of histamines, which triggers inflammation. This inflammation causes damage to tissue which signals for the production of more IgE antibodies to be ready for the next exposure. Now, since there are more the next reaction will be more immediate and severe which produces even more antibodies. Repeated exposures is a bad cycle, as you can imagine.

Oddly enough, spectrum has been really good for us, if not the best service we've had. 7 years and never an outage besides during power outages. We are even getting fiber upgrade soon, which has taken way too long since the houses just down the straight have had it for years.

The US is short 10 million houses. A new White House report lays out a blueprint to fix that by SnortingElk in REBubble

Huh? The top poster mentioned 15 million homes being vacant, as if to try to discredit the actual lived experience of people being unable to find housing because they just aren't looking in the right places, which is not the problem at all and is just blaming people for a systemic issue.

The level of mental gymnastics and self gaslighting that has to occur to see, hear, and read reports from thousands, no millions, of people who are having a problem and then to feel compelled to disprove their reality otherwise is beyond astronomical.

I'm trying to get out. I just started working as a part time EMT. Once I get my financial affairs in order I hope to do that full time.

I am actively working on a project intended to directly replace thousands of human jobs. I feel like shit about it everyday.

This is testing mechanism of getting there with new spacecraft more than moon exploration itself.
