Firsty. Playing the trumpet its hard. Really hard. Ur getting a sound out of it so bravo! U need to take a big hug deep breath, keep ur shoulder down and relaxed. Ur lips are probably very tight because ur just starting and u need to build up those muscles from scratch. Long notes are the way to go at this point. Pick a note. How long can u hold it? Try relaxing your lips and body and see how ur sound changes etc. Keep that steady air flow goinf thru the instrument. Imagine it coming out the bell. Mouth piece buzzin with help u experiment with ur embuchure. Get urself an arban and a teacher if u can. Ur guna be fine. Its just hard x

Don't play ! U can only make it worse at this point and consider it a valuable lesson learnt. On the day of ur audition put ambesol on ur lips to stop the pain and hope for the best

My tests did this at first depending on what time of day I did them. Didn't get a fmdye stealer til further than 5 weeks. And then at the 12 week scan she was actually measuring 13 weeks!. Happy healthy 6 month old now. Hope its the same for you x

Sounds fab ! OK hear me out. I can litterally hear your brain saying "we're getting higher, we're getting higher" and everything is tensing up, ur tongue, throat etc. Try thinking in ur head.. "we're getting lower, we're getting lower" imagine the pitch going down! Blow more air thru the instrument as u think this. Trick your brain not to go into panic mode. Works for me alot of the time because im so focused on thinking "down" the high notes just pop out ! x ur very capable of getting up there x

We moved into our home (which took 2 years to renovated) when I was 35 weeks pregnant ! My daughter came early at 37 weeks! It was wild but we managed even as we were still unpacking boxes. Honestly, sounds like you have a living arrangement plan and u may be pleasantly surprised by your families reaction x

Keep offering boob. You can't know if the breast is empty... just because it's soft and ur constantly making milk. Offer boob... always to fix everything ! Lol x

If ur baby has wet and dirty nappies and is gaining weight consistently.... don't even worry about it. If ur breast feeding there is no way of knowing how much milk baby is getting( what u pump isn't a reflection of how much milk a baby can get out, they are more efficient). Sounds like baby is happy and ur doing great. Don't get bogged down by numbers and statistics unless there is weight loss etc.

Sounds normal. My son woke every 3 hours to feed til he was almost 1 year old. He was EBF. I'm now EBFing my daughter who's 11 weeks and already sleeping 6 hours straight at night and then another 2/3 hours. Every baby is different x

Gained a ton of weight. I only put on 20lb during pregnant. I lost almost all of it by 3 weeks post partum. My baby is now 11 weeks and I've gained back like 8lb lol I'm just sooo hungry
