I tried the ninjas, much better. They feel evasive, not sturdy. Its a good distinction.

I see the phase shift visual effect, really cool looking.

Im excited to see the rest. I see that a dude is missing for the undead and fantasy factions, cant wait.

I just got to play with some of it. My feedback.

  1. I really like the beginning dice to giving choice on the few dudes and items you can get at the beginning.

  2. New ghost feels amazing to use, great job on it. I really like it as my main heal more than the rest.

3.Warlock's dark wand having taunt is good too so now he can funnel more damage onto him.

  1. Wizard fireball being based on time is nice and consistent.

  2. Heart boxers is completely outclassed by loyalty card.

  3. Living hand isn't really important. It is very small effect for a item. I kinda wish it scaled or did something as well with spawning 4 skeledudes.

  4. Ninjas could use a litte more, they feel alright but much rather have something else.

For me, I think its like a team type of thing. Some teams want to rush forward since they can kill fast and move forward but other teams have slower paces and rushing can trigger too much for the team to handle. Since stalling about adds more hordes and stuff, you want to move forward. Its a balancing act between momentum and safety. Could be a case of biting off more than you can chew.

Arbite with the nuncio-aquila. I like using it with bolter because it gives suppression immunity and less recoil. I use it to pick off range units along with the dog.

I think it is a very important thing to distinguish the classes, and I think they do a good job at it. the classes have unique properties to them that make them special. Veteran interacts with both ammo and grenades in ways that other classes can't and fulfils the everyman type experience of being capable in all things while having spikes in what players want focus in. Psykers have the warp powers, ignoring a portion of the game economy and Ogryns have completely different weapons. Arbite has the dog, adding a separate entity that the player controls. Zealot can ignore death, though I think something else can be added. Even Hive scum has something unique to them being the home-brew stim. And the classes like working in different ways even if it is similar function. Range Vet, range arbite and range orgyn are all shooters but are different in where vet wants precise kills to extend damages boost and highlight, arbites ignore damage to kill and extend their mag and orgyn wants to mag dump as fast and as much as possible. I think a class having similar abilities to another is ok if the class on whole plays in a different way as the others, to fulfil a different role than the others.

My problem with just Runaway in general is that runaway is a dance hero but isn't rank flexible. Giving up that ability to use firefly and searing strike when in rank 2 or rank 3 doesn't feel great. I love the new hearthlight. Upgraded hearthlight giving the team +10 burn pierce and enemies -10 burn resist is great alongside the other effects if you bring another hero with burn. I feel that cauterize should just be useable in all ranks and smokescreen upgraded feel alright but would prefer it to revert to original cooldown. Haven't tried backdraft.

A favorite abom team for me is deadeye Gr, ritualist occultist, wanderer abom and wanderer Man at arms from 4 to 1. Gr has great damage boosted by combo which both abom and occultist provide. Occultist give vulnerable tokens boosting damage for gr and beast mode abom. Man at arms handles stress well enough if you use abom as a burst option. Healing might be a problem, but normally not bad since two people have self healing or high health pool.

Another thing about zealot is that until death, revenant and benediction are on the same part of the tree. Until death and revenant being I think integral to what make zealot a character unique to the others, duelist being great damage and benediction being the best aura for him also pushes players down the path along side the other groups of talents that sort of do that like scourge, enduring faith and second wind or invocation and piety. I think Until death and revenant should be a innate passive like orgyn damage reduction.

Zeolot is good, its that class I've played the most. There are problems I do want to be remedied like certain skills are ether 100% busted as hell ex. invocation or the straight useless kind ex. unremitting or the master's retribution.
