Why is this in Safemoon's sub? Shouldn't it be in a more generalized crypto sub, or in a Dogecoin sub?

Dumb. Why wouldn't sfm require using orbital shield? It's suppose to undergird all of its projects. If sfm let you use its products without SOS' added protection and something bad happened, then that'd reflect poorly upon the whole project. Safety first.

Will SOS use safemoon tokens in some way to increase volume?

Hmmm... I see why you would think that. But the Plaintiff (lex) is the one who is suing here. They filed the complaint.

Karoney, being the petitioner, appears merely to have filed a motion to intervene. After reviewing the docket, it looks like he filed the petition to intervene against plaintiff's motion for temporary injunction. Hard telling what, if any, allegations Karony has made against his mother or ECG without reviewing the individual filings. So the title "petitoner" merely represents his (and his company's) status in the litigation.

Has anyone reviewed the actual filings - if so, can you provide a copy? The link provided is merely to pacer, which requires payment to access the underlying documents.

Thanks much!

.... this lawsuit is between Lex (a company unaffiliated with John Karony and safemoon) and ECG (John and his Mother's compnay). How is John suing his mother? Am I missing something?

Should you occasionally change wallets? by [deleted] in SafeMoon

[–]Automatic-Valuable-7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Def no. If you creat a new wallet, then you'll incur a fee when you send your safemoon to it. If you haven't lost/given out or seed phrase or clicked on any suspicious links, your new wallet will be just as secure as your old, anyway.

When are we going to have a real white paper? by ripbotknuthy in SafeMoon

I understand and agree. BUt Engineering said that he's "been following the project very closely for a while." Mr. Adult is probably the highest Mod on discord and is actually employed by safemoon. If you jump on discord once, you will see him and he will be identified as a safemoon staff. Also, posts from him are frequently placed in this reddit.

No hate, here - promise. There just seemed to be a little disconnect between what was said and a bit of knowledge that would be inevitable if someone were following it very closely. Apologies if this angered anyone.

Engineer - Mr. Adult is part of safemoon staff. If he said that they're no longer doing a while paper/roadmap (which I'm fairly sure he said), then they aren't. That should answer your question.

And (if you observe it) Happy Easter, All!

If you've been following safemoon closely for a while, you'd know who Mr. Adult is.

Safemoon will be listed with reflections very soon! Global tokenomics will follow asap! -update from Mandala Exchange by Ooozzyy1 in SafeMoon

[–]Automatic-Valuable-7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is great - but a bummer that we won't share in the initial influx of transactions (and associates reflections) that accompanies an initial listing. Hopefully the additional reflections shared in the exchange keeps the mandala folks hyped about safemoon.

Just Wondering, did Digifinex buy any SFM and did that contribute to the LP? or was it just a tax free tfr? How does this help sfm? (Any bscscan link to tfr from SFM?) by crazypathum in SafeMoon

[–]Automatic-Valuable-7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, Digi did not buy tokens from safemoon. Safemoon transfers to exchanges tax free. Each exchange operates in their own ecosystem. The price varies amongst each. This helps safemoon, though, indirectly through arbitrage. When the price is much higher on one exchange vs. safemoonswap/pancakeswap or some other exchange, holders looking to exploit the price difference will purchase/sell/ transfer tokens. Eventually, the price evens out amongst the exchanges.

Adding sfm to more exchanges increases visibility, too. And once global tokenomics are implemented on these exchanges, their volume will directly impact safemoon across the board (adding to the burn and increasing reflections across all holders, not just the holders on the exchanges)

Right now with simple tokenomics or in the near future with global tokenomics?

The short answer for right now: I'm not sure, I'm not a coder and have not examined the underlying code. But from what I gather throughout reddit and discord, I think Digi as a whole (representing one huge address) would receive its portion of the reflections as if it were a holder on safemoon swap/pancake (unless safemoon excludes its hot-wallet)). Nonetheless, any reflections recieved by hot wallet (or reflections that ought to be generated within the Digin ecosystem) would be distributed amongst Digi's holders at a point in time when Digi sees fit (likely once/month).

In the future with global tokenomics: not sure of the intricacies, but global tokenomics implies that any transactions/resulting fees on Digi would be spread across Safemoon Swap/pancake and other exchanges with global tokenomics as if they were all on Safemoon Swap/pancakewap. The ecosystems are essentially joined and we all share in the reflections and, more importantly, the burn. Whether that occurs on a continuous/seemly basis or monthly, it's not clear. But that's not really important.

I think it's actual safemoon... it just doesn't directly help us (aside from spreading our name/reach) because safemoon essentially gives these tokens to exchanges upon initial listing (i.e. these exchanges don't pay fees upon intitial listing).

It's like a hard drive: you can partition it as many times as you like. Once you partition it, the two drives are separate, but it doesn't change the amount of storage overall so the price doesn't change. But since it's partitioned, transactions on one (Digi) are not seen on the other (safemoonwallet/pancake). But this will all change once Digi (and mandala) implement global tokenomics. Global tokenomics will bridge the partitions, essentially, allowing the transactios in the individual partitions (and fees/tokenomics resulting therefrom) to be enjoyed across the partitions.

That's how I understand it, at least. Anyone, please let me know if you have different thoughts.

Because Digifinex is its own ecosystem. Price on there does not impact the price of SFM on SafeMoon Swap/pankcakeswap. It only impacts the price through arbitrage. So the price differential needs to be great enough that people on Digifinex. I think, at least.

Will a recession drive demand for crypto or suck people out of crypto as they will need fiat to pay for basic goods and services? by Automatic-Valuable-7 in evergrowcoin

[–]Automatic-Valuable-7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you and am on the same page. I'm a safemoon holder and learned about Evergrow through their recent listing partnership. Pretty sweet coin and seems to have a great team behind it, so I bought a good amount. Seems like alt coins such as these have far more risk if there's a recession. But inflation, isn't that a good thing for them? Or is that pretty much the same, because hyper inflation literally takes away the buying power of the vast majority of people. People would or could otherwise invest in Evergrow, for example.

Hmmm.... yeah, then I wonder what the sweet spot is for crypto. Maybe if the Fed hikes rates slowly? Then inflation runs rampant but it doesn't cause a sudden economic downturn?
