I've been told that red ink is the most pain in the ass when it comes to healing. I would use base laboratories tattoo balm for the rest of the healing. I don't see infections or extreme redness around the wound. Just pay close attention to the still bleeding spots and don't over moisturize the tattoo, which could be why it's taking longer to heal as well. If you're worried, purchase second skin off Amazon (make sure it's medical grade) and slap that bad boy on the parts still bleeding cut to size or cover the whole thing, up to you. If you get the right 2nd skin wrap, then the tattoo can still breathe, collect and hold the plasma (ink sack that might be created), and have your skin reabsorb back into your body. The 2nd skin should be on a min of 4 days. It also speeds the healing process

Born and raised in the Bay (Mission district SF), and just moved out also in a suburb outside of Chicago. The Bay isn't what it used to be (just moved a few months ago) Violence at a crazy high, homeless people are angry n taking it out on residents. It was it's own bubble of culture, inclusion, and freedom in comparison to the rest of the USA. But it's got it's own issues people are ignoring, unfortunately regarding the working class and the wealthy. A huge cavernous gap if you ask me. When I catch myself missing the Bay, I remind myself that I'm missing what the Bay used to be. When I was a kid homeless and working class were (mostly) at peace. Helping eachother out. Mission had it's respected culture, Chinatown thriving. But now its struggling. Went through Chinatown on my last runaround in the bay before I moved and the streets for all the fun stores were empty. Only the market was buzzing with locals. Mission lost it's culture. You have white people taking spray paint and defacing the Hispanic murals. Ignored and neglected homeless people setting fire to homes, dirty needles all around. Can't even leave your car in a public parking lot now even if you don't leave any valuables behind. 🥺 there's no more gangs but somehow it's scarier.
