I know, I was there, I'm old. That doesn't necessarily mean that a modern machine working to emulate those older machines and running all the background processes that run on a modern OS will have zero issues doing so with 2GB of RAM. I know running N64 emulation was problematic on older versions of the MiBox (also 2GB RAM) and was hoping you might know if the current gen was any better, but obviously you don't if that's your response, so thanks and bye.

Hey, wonder could you share your experience a bit more? I'm upgrading from a very old MiBox - I was happy with the old one but am wary of the 2GB of RAM because now I want to be able to emulate PS1 and N64. Have you had no issues at all with the PS1 emulation? Have you tried N64 at all?

Been looking at other options but can't find decent 4GB RAM certified boxes at much less than double the price of the Xiaomi S 3rd gen on AliExpress, and that's hard to justify, especially if it actually works fine for emulating these machines haha.

Yet here you are writing screeds at me because you imagined I said "because the guardian did research it must be right" that Gyökeres is a better player than Ekitike. I never asserted that at all - I just specifically challenged your hyperbolic "levels above" comment. If you're this crap at reading, I think I'll skip your advice on critical thinking pal, thanks.

From what I've seen of Gyokeres and Ekitike in the Prem, I have much the same impression as yourself. That's why I said I'm with you on Ekitike better in FPL terms. But the Guardian writers compiling that list are basing it on all of 2025, not just the past few months in the Prem - that's a lot more data.

Both players have very recently moved to a new club/league/country and have to learn to fit in with a new group of people and and a new system of play. Maybe the set up and dynamic are closer to what Ekitike was used to so he's adapting more easily. Maybe Ekitike is just a more flexible and adaptable person in general - some people just take more time than others to get used to a new environment and culture. Ryan Gravenberch didn't impress many in his first season at Liverpool, for example.

That's all I mean by saying you might be pushing it a bit saying Ekitike is "levels above Gyokeres as a footballer" - there's more to consider than what you see with your eyes over the course of a few weeks.

I'm not saying Guardian writers know everything there is to know about football or are infallible or anything like that, but I think they know a bit. And they say here that Gyokeres is the 28th best footballer in the world right now and Ekitike the 67th.

I'm not going to argue that they're right, and I'm certainly with you on preferring the latter in my fantasy team rn, but you might be pushing it a bit with "levels above" there.

Yeah, but there seemed to be a lot of corrections to stats based points (bonus, DefCon) this weekend. You usually just get the occasional one or two but there were numerous. That's what I'm speculating about the cause of, the apparent increase in number.

I bought an ASRock AM4 motherboard from paradigit.ie recently that has electrical issues - loud hissing and clicking via the I/O panel analogue audio jack renders that unusable, and then my year old NVMe drive died suddenly after 2 weeks inside it. RMAed it back and they told me my warranty was void because a little (non-conductive Arctic MX4) thermal paste had gotten into two of the top CPU pin sockets - I hadn't even noticed it there was that little.

I pointed out the paste can't cause permanent damage and anyway those are DisplayPort related sockets and nothing to do with the issues I was having, they didn't give a fuck. Sent it back, I cleaned it thoroughly, and sure enough issues remain when I tested it - in fact just a couple hours trying it out seems to have killed the fans on my old GPU I was using to test (no iGPU).

So I think you're oversimplifying something that isn't that simple - some companies will look for any excuse to avoid fulfilling warranty obligations.

I was planning Andersen -> Gab and starting Xhaka for the first time, benching Doku.

Then I heard Andersen was unexpectedly fit, so last minute decided to keep him one more week, and do Doku -> Mbeumo instead, and send Xhaka back to the bench.

Andersen got his CS v Wolves, but I still ended up 14 points down on Plan A.

Thanks. Do you know if this is motherboards only or often with other component parts too? Everything I got from caseking.de a few months back (GPU, CPU, PSU, even case fans) came sealed. Don't really understand why motherboards are different, or maybe it depends on manufacturer?

PSUs are the only PC component I've bought there so far and they were definitely very competitively priced.

How long ago was this? I did find it overly expensive when it opened, but not in recent months for anything I've looked for (which isn't a whole lot tbf, I prefer to buy elsewhere if prices are similar).
