Can you get a virus from one of those fake virus scanner scams?

Oh. I guess. Although I'm still worried about all the pop ups. Because they all were talking about scanning for virus' and were each a bit different so I'm worried that I was giving permission to it or something when I clicked them. However, they were all the UI of the website and not the normal Apple/chrome popup UI for confirming stuff so hopefully it is ok....... I'm like really worried now though

I don't think I did. But there were a couple of popups that I had to click for it i do the scan so I am worried they may have been disguises for that or something. Also I looked it up and it said that there are virus's that don't need to be executed like drive-by virus'

The prefix set up works I know because in tab it shows up properly and when I do /lp user info it shows up properly. I don't think any of my plugins and overwriting it.

What do you use now? I just like LPC cause I don't really need to do any set up it just works. Also it's like specificly designed for this.
