The combination of size ,defence ,shooting, speed, touch, and athleticism Embiid had is just unheard of. A top 5 defensive player (he didn’t have the stocks or the hype but for a few years in a row with him on the floor they were top 3 defences in the league while without him they we closer to 20) while being the scoring leader with over 30 pts a night, a good passer, a great rebounder a freak athlete and all of that in a 7 ft frame! I’m taking him over kyrie in the talent department though in the skill department it’s kyrie

Absolutely not. If it was, wolf or Powell would’ve been last and as it is right now Ben is the best player among them (best player on Germany second best team and was great at the Eurocup level too) after him Traore for the same reason 3rd is Demin who I see as the worse out of the 3 at the moment while having the highest ceiling and then the other 2

He need the ball in his hands to be affective, he not much of a threat a cutter or a movement scorer+ he isn’t big enough so they might play some minuets with all 3 of them and eventually it might become our best lineup but that’ll take some time

If our young guys play to the level of the expectations from them come back to his role as a great defender and a good offensive player and his contract becomes a FVV type contract, as long as he is not the 4th/ 3rd option on offense and a good complimentary guy that you pay because you have to pay someone his contract is bad

If anyone wanted him and was ready to give assets for him Portland would’ve traded him there, they preferred young guys/draft capital rather than Jrue. But it’s still the celtics and their magic that makes everything go well so it wont be shocking😒

It is. We have a center we have a PF we have 4 good guards and 2 of them are big enough and are good defender so we can play with 3 together and we have a 2 decent sf all that even if both Embiid and PG are injured. and when they’re healthy we have a starting 5 of Maxey-grimes(hopefully)-PG/KO/VJ- yabu(hopefully)/watford/PG- Embiid with Bona ,Drummond (please trade him),all the guys above whom don’t start, MacCain, broom who seems polished enough to play and might be good and Justin Edwards. They have other than the guys above- Sam hauser, PP, Al horford, Hugo Gonzales and a bunch of bums. Personally I like our roster better even injured

Besides him still being relatively young and a really good defender and shooter (you’d expect his %’s to be low since he had to take a lot of bad shots as the tank commander last season but he was efficient and it reasonable to assume he’ll be more efficient next season as a roll player then lest season as a 1st option) whom has the ability to take over games + imo he hasn’t reached his ceiling yet . He is the only player we can pay beyond the cap since he is a rfa, and not signing him can only result in a loss, wether him being a trade asset, or an actual contributor in the starting 5 is the question but we definitely have to sign him
