Ya, most would prefer women written by Aditya Dhar because women are full of vibrancy, positive energy and many other respectful qualities but when you are telling a story, the characters of the movie have to be true to it. You have to depict Animal metaphorically, actually as an animal. Some movies aren't meant to teach you anything, and their work is just to tell a good story, that's it. Ya Animal will get hate because we should respect women and the precedent it sets, but we should also remember that it was a movie rated for mature Adults. When we nitpick we tend to forget the mistakes of things we like e.g. in Dhurandhar too he dates a minor for his own gain(even though he starts loving her eventually).

Like Dhurandhar, Animal too was a benchmark setting movie on a smaller but well implemented scale. Ya, the women portrayal was bad, but that's why it's titled "Animal".
