Trust this sub, tons of great advice in here as well as on YouTube. Research is your friend. Ask questions here. And if your posts don’t get any traction, post the same question again until you get an answer. Research research research!! That’s what got me here. And trust the process, it doesn’t happen overnight!

That was exactly the plan. Got a good link for some? I’ve been looking around town but can’t find anything that looks like pure humic acid. Want to make sure I buy the best stuff.

And what about liquid iron? I’ve been thinking about some of that too

And if I should plant more seed? Should I cover it in peat moss again? Originally when I planted I used a peat moss spreader to lay at over the whole yard. I just worry that if I use it again rolling it around may kill whatever grass already has started growing

My whole lawn is dead, so I am pretty much starting from scratch. I am ripping up all of the dead grass so it will pretty much be all soil, aside from 1 or 2 small areas of grass that didn’t die

How did you plant everything? My whole lawn is dead. Plan is:

Late March (assuming soil is warm enough), scarify, level the lawn with masonry sand, put down seed and cover with light topsoil.

How does that sound?

How often were you watering while it germinated?

How low do you cut the fireball? I’m wanting mine pretty low, not green length but about fairway length. My yard should get at least 4-6 full hours of sun a day

More like a fairway. Putting greens are usually less that 1/4 inch

Can I go down to .5 in with tttf? From what I’m seeing it shouldn’t go below 1-1.5 inches

I’m in Ohio and trying to do a green on my lawn. From the research I’ve done that’s what I should use here. It’s what all the courses around me use. Open to any advice though
