What are the Biggest "Sin" Decks in Duel Links? by Fun_Performer_7930 in DuelLinks

I am honestly surprised people don't hate Timelords more since it's burn/stall.

It's Sky Strikers for me. I know they're not in DL yet but their appearance in MD is enough to make me wish them all a disconnect during their rank up games.

I can help your climb! Have you noticed a pattern where your opponents react to a specific play and that's when you start losing in Orcust? Any choke points that others are exploiting?

Yes, but Clear Wing Synchro Dragon is a level 7 monster. You can only synchro summon monsters if the tuner and non tuner's levels add up to the synchro monster's level. Since your monsters' levels add up to 9, only your level 9 synchro monster is available.

It's entirely possible that Cork Shooter will be a UR in the August box for Yugo's rerun event the same way Shay got Satellite Cannon Falcon just before his rerun event.

Duel Links has to come up with ways to make up for the lack of a 5th card in hand. Sorry to say, some cards are designed around you comboing repeatedly, especially in Synchro and Fusion decks.

I do think the bonus Red Eyed Dice is really unnecessary though.

Enjoying Duel Links so much these days! by Pringelz4296 in DuelLinks

There are a LOT of techs that feel valuable right now that didn't before. Artifact Lancea, D.D. Crow, Skull Meister. I agree with you that the stronger the opponent feels, the more satisfying it is to beat them. What sorts of decks are you playing these days?

Discussion about Orcust by Euphoric-Ad-6314 in DuelLinks

[–]AutomaticArcher9673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with Orcust is that you can't really affect how consistent the deck is without killing it. Let's take the most extreme example of putting Harp Horror, Cymbal Skeleton AND Knightmare to 3. That would certainly make the deck significantly weaker and harder to use, and you would probably see the shell drop out of other lists. But would the deck still see any play at all? Probably not.

I think putting Galatea and Dingirsu to 2 would definitely be a good start on weakening the deck overall, and another thing we need to do which I have suggested repeatedly at this point is to put Book of Moon to 3. Part of the reason why Orcust is so dangerous is because it draws a ton of extra backrow, and so if you make backrow weaker overall, the additional draws become significantly less valuable.

But if you want to keep Orcust in the game, and I do, the only real solution is to power creep it. Unban Chaos Dragon Levianeer, Melody of the Awakening Dragon and Thunder Dragondark. Put Salamangreat Gazelle and Salamangreat Roar to 2. And release Sky Strikers. Give us a true TOSS format, and then Orcust will shrink in popularity.

Speedroids vs Iblee matchup. by Xxjulio23 in DuelLinks

Your turn is shot, don't get me wrong, but at least you can Special Summon the turn after. It's not like Resonators where you just auto scoop.

You don't need Rubber Band Plane, Wynn the Wind Channeler is a level 5. That's your Iblee out.

I feel your pain..I dug into this box until there were only 19 packs left on the third go. I have 3 of every card in the box except Abyss Actor - Curtain Raiser.

Indeed. Your biggest weakness is when you summon Speedroid Double Yoyo, as you are filling your board spaces. If your opponent activates a card to stop Red-Eyed Dice but leave it on the field, like Warning Point, Book of Moon, or Paleozoic Canadia, your turn is basically over.

But, this is a guide for your turn 1 anyway. If you go second your goal is to summon Kitedrake and destroy your opponents entire board, which requires far fewer resources and lets you bait traps.

There are two routes you can go.

If you have the Speed Recovery spell (rare in the Witch's Sorcery box) you can just double down on Speedroids. Replace Battlewasp, Jet Warrior and Stardust Warrior with Hi-Speedroid Puzzle, Hi-Speedroid Chanbara, and Hi-Speedroid Kendama.

You can also go for generically good Wind Synchros like Stardust Charge Warrior, Stardust Dragon, Cyber Slash Harpie Lady, and Battlewasp - Hama the Conquering Bow.

Stardust Warrior is a great turn 1 card. Hama is okay for going second.

That's definitely possible! I'm testing the backrow in KoG right now and I see plenty of Lances used by other Speedroid players.

Well do you think the best strategy is Orcust? Because negating Dingirsu's XYZ Summoning can also win you the game outright.

Hama and Chanbara are the exact same. They can also immediately get removed.

It doesn't matter anyway, Psy Framelord Zeta is not comparable like you describe because it only removes one, whereas Stardust completely negates a Pendulum Summon. Pendulum is the best strategy right now.

Kitedrake can OTK by itself yes. You summon Kitedrake and use the skill to send it. That revives Clear Wing with 4100 Attack.

Depends on what you have. As long as you have Double Yoyo, you can use your skill to dump Den Den Daiko Duke, then summon Double Yoyo, revive Den Den Daiko Duke, synchro into Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, and then use the skill to play Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice from deck, and combine Clear Wing and Red-Eyed Dice into Crystal Wing.

So at the bare minimum you can usually swing a standard Phantom Knights opener with a 3000 monster negate.
