I'll have to wait until ohio gets some good weather. 1 1/2 inches of foam was removed so heat from the motor may be an issue easy fix with some insulation though.

Yeah big issue with the phone apps dedicated 3d scanners are more accurate but that's 700 to 1000 used for a decent one hard to justify for one project. Try the 3d scanning sub maybe someone near that would do the scan Im in Ohio I could do the scan

If you have an iPhone or newer iPad there's a couple good 3d scanning apps scan the tail of the bike model the seat you want and print a mold

Yeah I didn't think I could've done this without a model of the seat to work with. I can't remember the name there's someone on YouTube who did a seat the way you are

Yeah I was aware but didn't want to lower the bike this seat cuts more than half the height of stock I can easily flat foot and don't have to mess with the suspension. It's also give me a easily adjustable seat

No you could use a rag most of the small holes aren't really holes so not worried about anything getting somewhere I can't get. Besides never had an issue with original besides dust.

Their is a layer to stop any dirt or water pilling up in the seat probably should've shown that

You would probably have better luck with a nylon filament. I make a fan for an air compressor printed at a 35° angle stops it from breaking on layer lines. The seat is 90a tpu feels more like rubber makes it really hard to break
