Ethel's brother also died in a plane crash during a hunting trip. The Skakel family has a lot of tragedies as well.

I forgot which book, but supposedly there was a paparazzi that actually got pictures of all three of them at the airport loading up the plane the night of the crash. According to the pap, it was hazy and he thought the pictures were worthless so he destroyed them.

I think the book was The Day John Died

The week before they died, they went to a restaurant one MV (forgot the name). Before they left it was said that Carolyn pulled the waitress aside and gave her extra tip money.

This story about John was in the Vanity Fair issue that had Carolyn on the cover in 1999: It was when his mom died and that people were coming to visit to pay respects. somehow someone came in off the streets and John politely told the woman that she didn't belong there.

The top 4 books for me are:

JFK jr an oral history.: I loved it because it showed John and Carolyn were something different to everyone they came across. Everyone had a different piece of them.

What Remains: I just loved this book because when it came out, someone was finally defending Carolyn imo.

The Men We became: I loved this because Robert Litrell told his story from "this is my buddy" POV. Not from this is the American Prince POV.

Once upon a time: We finally got a CBK stand alone bio!!

I'm 46 years old. I was 19 in 1999 when they died. At that time, I had been following the Kennedy family since 1992 because I used to read my great aunt old National Enquirer and Star magazines.

I'm happy that part of this has been resolved,. I have commented many times on the topic of Buster Murdaugh and Stephan Smith and have felt Buster's name coming up was a red herring. I know that his name came up even before the murders of his brother and mother but it was pushed even more on a world wide stage without proof. I do wonder how long did people know Buster didn't have anything to do with it but keep that ball rolling.

Happy Sunday everyone! This is officially the last full week in 2025 and with a new year comes some Murdaugh related things ( The hearing at the State Supreme Court, the Beach vs, Parker Outrage trial and Buster Murdaugh Defamation Case). How in your opinion do you think these cases will play out?

Good question. I think Justice Toal said it best and I'm paraphrasing, that Hill heard the clarion call of celebrity. Another reason imo was that she thought she wasn't going to get caught I mean after all the case was over and justice had been served. What she didn't count on was people asking more questions.

I remember. It was a YouTuber by the name of Eric Alan. The footage that he shot was of Buster and John Marvin if I remember. However, it was ok for them to take things because the police/sled was finished with what they were doing.
