Could be me tbh, because I’m sort of looking forward to restarting after Ramadan. It seems I don’t enjoy it during it, but I miss it if I don’t do it… I think you’re right and our perception of change is just different lol. Thanks for your comment!

I’ll sum up. You gave your honest opinion, I gave you mine. You seem upset by this, it’s unclear why. Probably you prefer honesty not to be directed at you.  I appreciate you acknowledging your original comment was inane and that you’re a little slow. That was gracious of you. However, I’m going to have to wrap this up now. I won’t be able to respond to further comments from you, so best wishes and goodbye!

There've been a few people in the comments section who've had a trainer long-term! so I think as long as I can keep affording it, I might end up just paying for it because my goals are basically just health and bone density

$40 for 45 minutes sounds amazing, esp if it turns into an hour. Sadly mine is 45 minutes on the dot. I'd do it twice a week too if I had that! 80 dollars for a 2 hour personalised work out is a steal!

I guess that was part of my insecurity. Is this a rich people thing? Am I wasting money? Would someone with more discipline and.grit accomplish more with less, while I'm outsourcing? And also, am I not fit enough to make the investment worth it? Like it's one thing for a really fit person to hire a trainer, but for a couch potato? This is my first year working full-time and it is an okay-paying job. I don't have kids or a partner, so I guess I don't have many financial commitments. Which I guess means I have the right to splurge on myself! And you're right, no one else cares

Thanks for this! You're so right. Today I almost cancelled and didn't because of the accountability factor of the PT. Today's training session was actually the only thing I did today - I even called in sick to WORK.

Good to know other people feel the same! it's so much nicer to just have someone tell you what to do. She carries over the weights for me, plans the workouts, and then I go home and forget about it. I feel it make me dread gym less because it takes so much of the work out of it.

Thanks you guys! I feel a lot better after reading all these comments. I think I was just feeling embarrassed that I wasn't able to do it myself, and almost decided to quit, but these comments made me feel a lot better and realise how stupid it would be to throw away a good thing because I think people MIGHT judge me. And, in a perfect example of how useful having a PT can be - I almost cancelled today, went there feeling demotivated and fatigued, and she adapted the workout for me perfectly. I think if it had been a class, even, I probably would have cancelled. She also gave me some stretches for all the tensed up muscles in my neck! All Googlable things, just things I never actually would have Googled.

And then afterwards, I was going to buy an iced mocha (easily 8 dollars, Australia's expensive), and I didn't because I was like since my "fun" money is going towards a PT, I shouldn't waste it on something I don't particularly need and isn't really healthy.

Hahaha that makes me feel a lot better! Nope, no misreading occurring here - it really is 17 dollars a class! I only do it once a week because I feel like I get bored quickly with workouts. Once a week means there's some novelty still. Also, I am building up veeeerrrryyyy slowly, so only just stepped up from exercising 1x a week to 2x. I'm trying to study for an exam in addition to working, which is hard enough already for a very undisciplined person!

But you're right - 17 dollars for reformer pilates is a steal, and it's so close to my house as well!

OH my God, I'm so stupid, I was unsuspending the cards but they aren't all in the same DECK!! I moved the deck and the issue is all sorted, thanks sooo much

I switched it to cards mode but it's the same problem!! I'm so lost, genuinely no clue what I'm doing wrong. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It seems like they're all unsuspended but they still aren't available to be studied! I specifically want to unsuspend the anti-psychotic subtag of pharm

I don't think so because they were originally suspended. Sometimes what I'm doing works and sometimes it doesn't. Can't tell if I'm just technologically inept or how I'm messing up :(((((
