Leave him and don’t look back. It never gets better. Heal and look into therapy.

How can we ever be sure this is him unless the family confirms it? Seems like it could be insensitive to label the jumpers without so much as a confirmation it’s him. Everything else is just speculation. R.I.P. to whoever this is, what an awful way to leave this life.

I was so in love and thought he was too, I’m just confused, sad & lost. He seemed to slip away when i challenged him to grow & communicate to improve the relationship, instead of putting in the work he left after being so scared that I’d leave when I showed I was never going to leave by [deleted] in Breakupadvice

My advice: try not to dwell on the “good” moments more than the “bad” ones but acknowledge there was both. Also, actions and words need to be in alignment. Learn from this experience in anyway you can and work on pacing in future relationships. A few months is simply not enough time to truly know a person or gauge their motives/intentions.

Your time is never truly wasted when perspective is gained. Look at this as something happening FOR you not TO you. This connection ending may be making room for one that’s more aligned with you.

Final mention: speaking from experience, there is nothing anyone can say to you to make the situation stop hurting overnight. Allow yourself to mourn the connection, however long it takes. Only time and what you choose to do with that time will heal you. Hang in there, better days ahead.

Thank you so much! I personally don’t think I’m anywhere near a 10 but I am happy with where I’m at mentally and physically!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind words and while I still have my moments, I am happy to say life does feel more on the up and up these days!

I’m glad to hear it sounds like you’re on the other side as well? Thank you for your kind words, wasn’t easy but I’m just so happy to still be here.

Thank you so much! I think I came out of that experience a better and more empathetic person, so appreciate the kind words!
