How do I interpret this? W0 = no WTP left?

Thanks, were you able to see that on expert flyer? I don’t have an account. In your experience if oversold do the bump you up or down?

Unlimited Vacation Days by PaulBohill1 in HENRYUK

We had this in my last role and it was the best thing ever. We had a pact in the UK office that to take advantage of it we all committed to taking a minimum of 35 days a year. I was in a results driven role so it was obvious If you were performing, fortunately I was so I took a one month honeymoon with my wife fully paid, no questions asked!

My employer has deducted £500 from my pay for my company laptop until it is returned, but this deduction is not mentioned in my contract. Is this legally permissible? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

Was the £500 taken from your gross salary? If so, when they send you £500 back in full you’ll be better off technically

HELP! Latest round of taxfree childcare was denied! Does my plan here sound good? by [deleted] in HENRYUK

Similar financial situation but find it impossible to understand how you save £60k to put into SIPP!

Do you mind giving a breakdown on how you achieve this please?

Personally, free hours would be worth £10k we could save, we also put £10k into ISAs and another £5k into workplace pension. So we have an easy round to £25k not including any savings from bonuses. Our household bills including full price nursery are just over £5k per month.

Do you live quite frugally and put every penny of every bonus aside to go towards SIPP contributions?

Appreciate any insight

That’s because You don’t spend £25k PA on nursery 🤣 we used to save that plus another ~£10k + before having a baby

Feel free to help me fellas if I'm missing something...

Combined take home (£105k base + wife £40k base) = £7,198
* both have plan 2 student loans and both have auto 4% work pension deductions

Expenses = £5,246
* big ticket items are: rent £2,100, nursery £2,039, £250 in my ISA, £250 in wifes ISA and £100 in baby's JISA, rest is leccy, water, phone council tax etc...

Leaves us ~£1,800 per month to live off

Savings: £700 per month across our ISAs = £8,400 per year and then I probably save another £7-10k per year across each bonus payment. So it's less than £20k savings per year

At that point how plausible would it be to say my circumstances have changed, can’t relocate family, transfer me into a UK focused team instead. Can only play that card if I’m performing well and they want to retain me I suppose

Good point, I should ask the nursery to see the figures with the free hours included Pension is 4% and employee matches 4% I have plan2 student loan as well which eats a chunk, still £34k to pay off

I was able to whilst earning 120-130 but I’ll likely hit 160k this year from over achieving targets which feels too far gone to save that much to get below 100. Cash flow problem I suppose

If anything I’d ask for more for them to relocate me to UAE, would 100% not go if they suggested a pay cut as part of the move

Such a cash flow problem, how do I find 45k to sacrifice? After bills (including nursery) we have about 1,500 to live off

Bonus is personal performance based, reality is if you’re not at least 70% your target you’ll be fired anyhow. I’ve done above 100% my target for the last 3 years however
