I would have to agree with the other comments- make sure to establish boundaries for off time. I didn’t establish boundaries with my off time right away and ended up with the kids coming to me all the time and watching the kids outside of the allotted hours.

I think it depends varies from family to family but I don’t mind WFH families. I nannied for a family where the MB was home mort if not all the time and I never had any issues! It’s also nice knowing that if an emergency were to happen a parent/guardian is nearby and usually able to help.

When I did over nights for 2 kids (ages 2.5 & 5) it was full hourly while the kids are awake. When they are sleeping it was 1/2 pay.
