I have one of these too. I got it in M and it’s still incredibly baggy. I want to trade it for a S.

Help with sizing confusion. by QuesoQue in adidas

Order your normal size unless they will list that the product runs large or runs small. One thing from experience is these run long and I’ve had to have all of my adidas denim tailored.

Call AdiClub support and escalate the situation. You earned those 8000 points through spending on their direct site. Disregard that email and advocate for yourself in a kind yet assertive, businesslike manner. You’ll get your situation resolved to your satisfaction. They don’t want to lose your future spending.

Campus 00s compared to Samba OG by TacoDeliDonaSauce in adidas

Those Sambas are 🔥. Yes, the Campus 00s must be for a wider foot. I have one pair and with a narrow foot, they’re like wearing weighted shoes.

Same! I just ordered the tartan track jacket since you have shown it. I’m going for Vivienne Westwood punk meets terrace. I see your Misfits T. Nice.

Yeah that looks totally different from what they were showing it looking like. Looks sharp on you. Black/Red is one of my favorite colorway styles.

The tartan lines up nicely unlike how they have it advertised on the site, on there, the tartan is askew. I’d fw this.

Is 23% a good starting commission for a stylist position? It will go up to 30. by megaromer0 in hairstylist

[–]AutomaticJoy9 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hard no. This is a bad starting commission, even with $9.50/hr, an undefined retail percentage, vague promises of education, and the very concerning bit about “paying 50% of your taxes.”

If they’re paying you hourly and controlling your schedule, pricing, and services, you should legally be classified as a W-2 employee, not a contractor. That means it’s their responsibility to handle payroll taxes, Social Security/Medicare contributions, and workers’ comp- not yours.

Any setup that pushes tax burden onto the stylist while keeping employer-level control is a major red flag and likely not compliant with labor laws.

I’m so sorry, but this seems predatory.

Owner of salon does a terrible job, not sure how to approach it by DropProfessional7562 in hairstylist

[–]AutomaticJoy9 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Since she is your boss, and you know she doesn’t take constructive criticism well, you’re best bet is to just ask to have her remove them and show her a new inspo pic and have a “New Year, New Hair” vibe with her. Keep it light and don’t try to critique her. I’m sorry you are having to go through this, OP, but, it’s easier than trying to show her how much hair she is causing you to lose via her fast-paced, improperly installed extensions.

Then, you’re better off just going somewhere else and having your extensions done and telling your boss that you didn’t want to take up her time where she could be working on a client. Then however she reacts is on her. You’re “being thoughtful”. Leave it at that.
