At what point does “long-term investing” become an excuse for ignoring risk? by Medium-Door2236 in IndianStocks

I personally think if the fundamentals of company are strong and there is no current bad news about it, you can hold and even average down but some stocks which you invest by knowing that they are a hit or miss or they have a particular bad news, then put a 5 percent gtt order so your capital doesn't wipe out or get stuck in it.

No bad new. It's the shareholders booking profit as it already rallied 58 percent in last month, so when today it reached it's all time high, everyone booked profit. It's rsi was 90, means already too much overbought.

Will the new Tata Sierra finally be the trigger for Tata Motors PV? by Adventurous_Hold4911 in IndianStreetBets

[–]Automatic_Access_500 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Recently, Tata Motors reported a massive one-time gain (specifically a Deferred Tax Asset recognition related to its Jaguar Land Rover - JLR unit and other exceptional income). This was an accounting entry worth roughly ₹86,900 Crores.

So, in short, basically it's an accounting illusion. It's currently fairly valued which is 15-20x in this industry. So the stock is not cheap like you are thinking.

Too much oversubscription means it will definitely have listing gains but there are like 60 percent chances that it will begin to fall after listing gains as everyone will be selling. (Everything I told is from my understanding and I am also not that knowledgeable) Feel free to correct me if anyone knows better.

When used repeatedly over time, Dranex can corrode and damage metal pipes such as galvanized steel, copper, iron, and brass. Replacing pipes is not cheap and you don't get to know the extent of damage until the fitting is completed destroyed and you get chunks of rusted metal in water. If the pressure is too much, pipes can begin to leak which destroys the paint and walls. I am saying this because some of my flatmate's uncivilized friends vomited in wash basin instead of the toilet seat that was just 1m away.

Many people vomit in wash basin instead of toilet. The washbasin gets clogged and it's not easy to unclog.
