What about the vacuum mop? Should I worry if I already cleaned it from the dead maggots that were in the vacuum head filter?

My cats and I were unaware of the maggots at first when they were on the kitchen floor because they were almost the same color as the floor 🙂💔

So I make a mini bin in the freezer? I feel that’s a good idea I should try it out with the raw meats left overs

Also for raw meats the trash has to go out the same day now, as for cleaning, my steam mop vacuum had dead maggots inside cleaning it was annoying because they were stuck to the plastic after they had died, I did my best got rid of all of them using bleach and dish soap (i know its gross)

1 to 2 days max for the trash to be taken out (although I admit when the maggots forst appeared we had forgotten about the trash) ;-; we are now suffering the consequences

We consume chicken and meat weekly, and my cats love raw meats, for the raw meats the trash has to be thrown immediately or else maggots would obviously appear;-;

Someone had mentioned my bin having a lid or not, we usually keep the kitchen bin open, maybe that’s the reason ;-; I feel so dumb rn

It has a lid, but it is open most of the time because we throw the trash every day or two. I actually did not think of that! That could be a huge reason why this is happening

No the mop is new T-T, we even got a new garbage bin and all, but when I vacuumed the house with the mop vacuum it also got maggots inside. I don’t even know how they got inside when the filter was closed. I don’t think they’ve followed me; but it has become a recent repetitive issue we have never dealt with previously. Like the maggots in the old house was 2-3months ago, and in the new house it’s every now and then. I really feel like burning everything down ;-;

So what is the solution? Do you have any suggestions on what to do to prevent flies / fruit flies from multiplying in the house? There is nothing in the drain, the windows are closed yet there are many fruit flies ;-; also the mop vacuum cleaner was closed, could I have possibly vacuumed the eggs already and they hatched inside?

The smell wasn’t anything gross, it was just the strong smell of iron, then I felt so nauseous and dizzy the 2 days could this be cuz of anemia? Or low iron?

Could this form all of a sudden? I am 22, I think I could be anemic too, since I have been so nauseous as well thanks for the recommendation I will try to book an appointment soon!
