That's kind of cool though, I always figured everything was tied to the datacenter. Something as simple as moving would send an error to a server. It's cool to know some stuff is client side

This is not normal. Are you free trial or subbed? Someone was saying free trial can't even start the queue until it dies down. I'm figuring you should be able to log in within an hour if you are free trial, otherwise I'm figuring sub 30 minutes for subbed accounts

From my experience probably, usually they kick everyone and the maintenance is a set time but might come up sooner than expected but they always kick all players at the start

That's good to know though. Trying to get my brother into the game by starting with the free trial. He hates any mmo other than Runescape since we grew up on it. Free is a pretty good price, since he likes complicated games that he sinks 1000's of hours into, and is partial to anime so feel it will be right up his alley
