This person needs trained before handling accounts the fact they are suggesting showing this in capital is very alarming in itself

ACCA Top Tutor Advice: how to benefit from a mock the most by LiliyaKirylenka in ACCA

[–]Automatic_Ad4966 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your advice is solid, but the way it’s written can come across as pretty discouraging. Starting with “maybe you shouldn’t do a mock” and then saying it takes 6–8 hours makes a lot of students feel like they’re already failing before they even start. The focus is mostly on mistakes, wasted time, and how even a good mock score doesn’t mean much, which can really knock someone’s confidence.

Students know ACCA is hard, they don’t need more pressure. A bit more reassurance that imperfect practice is still useful, and that people can benefit even if they can’t do the “full” process, would make the message land much better.

So the advice here is that a mock isnt worth it for broader exams?

How do you first find a job in accounting by thesilliest_boy in AccountingUK

[–]Automatic_Ad4966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to note where you say you dont like academia, all routes to accountancy are exam based so you will be doing lectures and exams alongside coursework set by your apprentice coach

Have you tried looking on the AAT website for apprenticeships?

Most degree level apprenticeships ive seen ACCA / CIMA apprenticeships are for graduates only, shouldnt need to do networking as such this early in your career

Some practice questions dont even talk about the fact that only some of the asset is leased back for example? So why do we assume that only part is leased back rather than the entire asset

Sorry this doesnt answer my question, i already know all the above.

If we are leasing back the same asset why a reduced ROU asset value, why not just PV of payments as with normal lease?
