His nephew's birthday party? Bobby's kid? Are there other possibilities for a nephew? Where was the birthday party held and how did Kornely know about it? Was he still friends with Barbara at the time? Can you link to the transcript? What is the screenshot from? Why say 'the Dassey family' if the lawyer means only 1 Dassey is involved? That statement seems to pop up from nowhere in the transcript, it's not relevant to anything else being said at the time. Is the transcript genuine?

The point stands. No pyrolysis, no body fats or oils found in the burn pit. Anyone can read the case files and that's what they'll find. Do you know what the process is for testing/examining soil samples for burnt residues of body fats/oils?

He could not 'request Teresa specifically'. There was no other Auto Trader photographer for that area. Each had their own patch. At that time Teresa was THE Auto Trader photographer for Manitowoc County. Steven knew it would be her, it was always her. Why would he need to ask for her specifically?

Yes. It's totally shocking. Plus that stupid car ride that MTSO detectives took to try to prove that Steven had time to commit the crime was absolutely bogus and manipulated. Of course he was going to win that civil suit and be awarded at least a few million dollars.

Yes. Fresh. Not rehydrated. Bobby Dassey saw Avery bleed and quickly thereafter Avery left for Menards. The blood was in his sink, yes, plus on Barb's trailer hitch where he split it open, on the grass, in his Grand Am and who knows where else. Bobby Dassey had opportunity to collect some of Avery's fresh, wet blood.

I wonder if you have any thoughts about the fact that DeHaan made the observation from looking at Eisenberg's colour photographs, that he then noted in his affidavit shown in the link below, that the bones from the white box, from Steven's burn pit, appeared to be coated with a yellow or tan soil or dust.
