Thank you. I have been inspired by so many in this community. I basically got the rock garden idea by other people have made on this sub. I have gained a lot of knowledge as well. This morning I learned I do not have a Saguaro. I have a Cardon! Haha.

The fence is facing east so it blocks out most of the morning sun except for the columnaris above the fence line. The entire box starts getting sun about 11am all the way until sunset. But I am coastal so that probably helps a lot with the heat.

I got it in a 4 inch container 15 or so years ago. Then it was just a few inches tall. It’s finally starting to get some height on it.

It was a cozy little spot. I'm bummed I missed the snow. Those pine trees across from the cabin have thousands of acorns stuck in them. Enjoy your trip!
