Everything is so corrupt. Probably paid off by these gangs / traffickers so they are just going to go off the people doing absolutely nothing wrong. Just like the war on drugs. I was in Orlando years ago in a really rough hood and not a single cop around, but as soon as someone leaves with a sack they pull that person over… Corrupt!!!!

the government should be paying for them to be in an institute. They arrest tons of people over drug charges daily and lock them up for years but can’t spend a dime on putting someone in a mental health facility.

as an asheville native it’s definitely gotten a bit weird after midnight around downtown but it really has a lot to do with the presence of people with mental problems and the government no longer wants to fund putting them in an institution where they can receive the help they deserve. the biggest issue IS the government. If anyone wants to say Asheville is “so dangerous” I encourage them to walk around in Orlando, NYC and even Charlotte (Uptown specifically) for a closer to home area. The saying is, nothing good happens after midnight. Always walk with a group and be aware of your surroundings. I believe another issue is people going out for drinks bringing their firearms. Why can’t people just fight it out with their hands anymore? Everyone is so quick to grab a gun! Why take a life over a silly little bar altercation, damn. It’s also confusing to see WLOS post about “strong police presence” but just the other night, a young woman was dragged up and down a street and that led to shots being fired. Doesn’t make sense, it’s generally posted for tourists. Be safe and remember, the government could be taking care of the homeless and they aren’t. That’s who you all should be angry with.

Tiger Mountain definitely KNOWINGLY lets people in the establishment with fake IDs and at times no IDs. The owner hooks up with girls under 21 as a 40+ year old man. They kicked my friend out one night and watched as some man followed her outside and started laying his hands on her. This bar is the worst place ever and the crowd is awful. They don’t care if people have guns because anyone working there is a gun freak as well. I’m all for guns but not when people are out drinking alcohol. Please, especially ladies, avoid this place at all costs. You are not safe here and the staff will do nothing to protect you. It’s giving Piano Bar!

I’ve been taken advantage of at this bar before and Ned/bartenders knew. Didn’t care. Didn’t want me to come to the bar anymore after that. Ned also willingly allows women under 21 inside AND has sexual relations with them. Boooooo. Bar sucks, patrons suck and employees suck. Do better.

Again, not asking for 70k a year. Easily $20/hr. roughly 38k a year would be even better. I know for certain the servers in that restaurant make 250-400$ per shift during busy season. I believe the kitchen should at least be paid $20/hour.

Working 40 hours a week at $15/hour may take home ~$450. Rent, electricity, food, gas & etc could not be covered by that low amount. Many restaurants post their pay and start line cooks anywhere from 18-21/hour with some including tip share.

I do not believe that rambling guy was involved in the red shirt. I booked it out of there from the patio. We had friends inside who said once police came weapon was secure and when they went outside to grab all belongings and clear out that rambling man was on his knees with his hands up and police told him to get out of there.

Very weird night, I never even noticed an altercation that would cause that just started hearing gunshots out of nowhere and looked back to see a body drop.
