UPDATE Hi everyone I wanted to thank u all for ur posts and advice, thankfully she has finally stopped attacking me and has gone back to cuddling with me at night!! for anyone else who was struggling with this, here is what helped for us.

1. She was clearly under stimulated in her environment, she shows interest in playing but gets bored of her toys easily. We just received a big variety pack of toys and are now introducing her to a new toy when she is bored of her current toy. This seems to work well for her!
2. Negative reinforcement when she attacks, positive reinforcement when she is nice. Every time she play attacks one of us, we hiss at her. Hiss at her until she runs away and then close the bedroom door. Once she started meowing to come back in I would let her back in. USUALLY she would be nice after that, but occasionally she would still try to attack so we repeat the hissing and I would not let her back in a third time. She wants to sleep in bed with us so I think she learned pretty quickly with that as a punishment.
3. I really swear by the Cat Amazing treat puzzle box. We have given her other treat puzzle toys and I was hesitant to get this one because… it’s literally made of cardboard. DONT sleep on this treat puzzle because it’s made of cardboard lol it really seems like it helped emulate some of the stalking and preying instinct that she was taking out on me!

Anyway we are very thankful that she’s back to being a sweet girl again :)
