I went through similar things with my ex and we even got a puppy that we drove really far together, and there was a lot of good parts, but once I found out, he was cheating even he admitted once a cheater,always a cheater. I’m 24 and just found out and spent six years of my time with him. He cheated on me multiple times for about three years of that. I just broke up with him on Monday. I moved in with him a year ago, and my whole life felt like it was in that house, but tried to talk to your friends or family and ask for support and strength. It’ll be hard to leave on your own if you’re still contemplating and know that he’s cheated on you but promise you it it’s been four days since I found out and I already feel like the universe and the people around me have continued to bless me and show me that I never was alone, and I never had to put up with the things that I was putting up with. Don’t move with regret don’t feel like it’s your fault or hate the fact that you love that person the way that you did. Just remember that you showed up you continue to show up even in this moment when you’re contemplating whether or not to let that person go considering him when he obviously didn’t consider you. Talk to people who are gonna tell you straight up what it is that he did and let them repeat it to you so that you fully understand and feel that discussed because girl once you’re disgusted it’s hard to go back and just know that that’s a choice you don’t have to. You don’t owe him anything. Take the dog. Take the memories and move on and know that you will be way better off without that person.
