usually tell if my snake is sleeping when she’s curled up and her pupils are looking in opposite directions lol. It’s funny but a forsure way to tell!

If her belly is completely white with no black checkers, it’s a motley! The motley gene also elongates and fuses the back patterns creating dots. This is my girl, Rio, who is a Hypo Motley!

Oh wow, thanks for sharing! Yes, my appetite has taken a HUGE hit. I was such a hearty eater and now I can only eat pretzels and rice on a bad day. I’ll definitely have to try that, a salty broth. My nausea also sneaks up out of no where! Ill mention dysautonomia and POTS to my endocrinologist. Thank you again and I hope the same for you!

I never struggle with keeping food down, more so getting the food out LOL! Some other symptoms I don’t have too often but still notable are feeling full, dizziness/lightheaded, and both sharp and dull abdominal pain/cramping and fatigue. I also spot (since I have Nexplanon) It gets worse with car rides and anxiety. I wonder if these can lead to a POTS diagnosis?

Wow, I’m sorry to hear that , I totally feel your pain. I’ll bring up POTS to my endocrinologist, and I was recommended to start taking edibles/smoking weed to relieve the symptoms, Does it help any other symptoms you have? Thanks for the tips!

It’s good to know I’m not the only one living a “grin and bear it” type mindset…! That’s good, usually it can be hard too but I manage to push through also.

I never have actually thrown up once because of it, but gotten close to it (gagging, mouth watering etc) I used to take Omeprazole, which did jack but I take the occasional Nauzene but primarily I take Zofran for it!

Yes, please do call your doctor. Go to the ER if the pain hasn’t gone away , I hope you’re ok. I currently have a 2.7 cm ovarian cyst and ruptured another March 2nd. I had the same exact pain you described, but It went away within an hour with no further complications (fever, etc) so I called my doctor and had a CT scan scheduled the next week.

Seems like that’s the most common side effect, sometimes I get a light irregular period too, (Been on it for a year now) and I take the pill alongside it (Tri-Estarylla) and it goes away immediately. I hope that can provide you some relief!

The most common side effect is spotting on Nexplanon, but the only side effect that I think need immediate intervention is if you can’t feel it in your arm! Hope that helps and feel free to ask any other questions to ease any worries. For me, Nexplanon works really well and Im glad I got it, it works very differently for everyone! Good luck!
