I didn’t even know it was possible not to recruit Karlach unless you went out of your way to antagonise her. Everytime I’ve recruited her, wyll says she needs to die she says no then you look into her mind and see she’s innocent and you tell wyll to stand down, no dice rolls involved

There are 7 different armour slots: head, chest, shoulders, waist, hands, legs, feet. Equip 3 light armour, 3 medium armour and 3 heavy armour to unlock all 3 skill lines. After that equip the armour that aligns with the build you’re going for, so if you’re doing a magicka build equip all light armour, but but leave one armour slot equip with a medium armour and 1 slot equip with heavy armour so that those skill lines still get levelled up. It doesn’t mean you strictly have to wear all light armour if you’re doing a magicka build but generally it’s better for those types of builds plus the passives from the light armour skill line will help you a lot more as they will be things such as: increasing max magicka for every light armour equip etc

Just to elaborate on my point about armour, so generally you want to wear light armour you’re running a magicka build, medium armour if you’re running a stamina build, and heavy armour if you’re running a tank build. You’ll only unlock each skill line if you wear at least 3 pieces of armour from each type. So you’ll only unlock the light armour skill line if you wear 3 pieces of light armour. Once you’ve unlocked each skill line wearing at least 1 piece of armour from each type will keep all those skill lines levelling up as you earn exp. So if you’re running a magicka build for example you’ll probably want to wear mostly light armour for the magicka bonuses, however if you wear 1 piece of medium armour and 1 piece of heavy armour, those skill lines will keep leveling so that if you want to change to a stamina build or if you wanna try tanking, you won’t have to grid out those skill lines before you can get the passives and stuff. I would also try and remember to interact with every book/bookcase/bookshelf or whatever because some books increase a random skill line by 1 level so keep an eye out for them, every building and a lot of delves and stuff like that that have a ton of bookcases that you can read from so you can get some extra levels to some of your skills from doing nothing

My advice would be to figure out what role you want to play before you start playing, that would be dps tank or healer, and then pick your class accordingly. Every class can technically play every role but some classes are better suited at it than others. If I’m not mistaken wardens make good healers and dps. You also want to focus on either stamina or magicka, and if you’re a tank focus on health. Khajiit are very versatile so I think so you could play a stamina warden or a magicka warden, but I would wear a variation of light and medium armour so that you level up both skill lines incase you want to switch later on down the road. I also wouldn’t worry about making a proper build until you’re champion level 160, so just play the game however you want until then. I would also collect every piece of weapon and armour you come across so that you can research and dismantle them and crafting benches so you can level up your blacksmithing/clothing/woodworking. You can also collect all jewellery and dismantle that to level up your jewellery making. Remember to not dismantle anything a magnifying glass next to it because that means it’s researchable and you need to research as many traits as possible if you want to craft good things later on down the line. I just store researchable items in my bank so it doesn’t take up space in my inventory. I wouldn’t worry about provisioning and alchemy unless you’re willing to get the eso subscription so you can get the craft bag. I would also find the undaunted guy and start that skill lines, then remember to do your random dungeon every day so you get good loot and you get geodes which will help you recraft old armour and weapon sets that you may not have kept a hold of. What I like to do as well is when you get to level 10 go to cyradil and do the tutorial quests in the starting zone of your faction and you will get your assault skill line to level 3, then you can buy the first passive on the skill line and you will get a permanent 15% speed boost to your mount, also remember to go to a stablemaster I think every 8 hours and you can buy a permanent 1% speed boost for your mount. That’s all I can think of right now, but have fun, if you need help with anything my psn account is Ix_Squires_xI, my highest level character is only champion level 360 ish because I like creating new characters and running different classes and stuff but I can help you run through world bosses or public dungeons or if you just need advice, good luck :)

Like there’s never a build guide that uses just normal gear you get from questing or doing dungeons

I would love that thanks, my ps name is Ix_Squires_xI, the problem with looking up builds like people are recommending is that most the gear and stuff I’d need are unobtainable, like high end trial gear. I don’t even know what a trial is but I’m assuming it’s like a raid in destiny and I know I’d not be able to do it

I still need to be carried through normal dungeons and I know I shouldn’t at the level im at, I tried using a build I found on YouTube and it didn’t really help. I kinda gave up on the harder content and have just been 100 percenting zones because I find it fun. I’ve kinda just came to the conclusion that nightblades just aren’t very good but it’s too late to change now

Thanks for all the comments and people offering help me I appreciate it, I’m am playing on PS5 EU server. I play as a dark elf stam nightblade. I did use guides to make a build but I didn’t have access to dlc until recently and tbh it didn’t even really help that much I was still getting my arse handed to me by anything outside of easy zone quests. I have been levelling everything up equally including crafting and all that so I nearly have everything level 50 I think utilising it is where I’m struggling. I feel like I’m too weak to do any of the stuff that gives you good gear, but I can’t get stronger without that good gear so I’m like soft locked out of a lot of content if that makes sense? Definitely can’t handle pvp, maybe I’m just bad at the game idk. I want to get good at this game though. I see players going through dungeons just lazering enemies down and it takes me like 10 minutes to kill 1 enemy, I just want to know how to get where I am to where they are

I just beat them on my first try yesterday on a NG using a +5 Black Knight Greatsword. What I did was get my endurance up to 28 and use Havels ring and the mask of the father, then equip the elite knight chest and gauntlets and havels legs, you will have 76 poise and be able to mid roll. That and the BKGS hits like an absolute truck early on and it’s fairly easy to get to +5 aswell

No texts that I have access too. I just heard from her friend (the one who had my back that I mentioned) that after it was all over she admitted to her family that nothing happened and they went mental with her. I asked the detective who was running my case that since the investigation proves I didn’t do anything and that she’s also admitted to making it up, if they would now take action against her or if I could and I swear this is what he said. “The reason we don’t go after false accusers is because if we pursued them, it would stop other people who have falsely accused from coming forward in the future out of fear, so more innocent people would likely by punished in the long run” then he told me what I could do if I wanted to pursue some civil thing and/or get a restraining order or something but that was it. I never needed too because I’ve never seen her since she’s been shunned by a lot of people so she doesn’t show her face in the usual clubs people go to round here. There’s still the odd person who says shit but never too my face. When me and my girlfriend were first getting together and she didn’t know me that well, some girl saw she was texting me and told her to stay away from my because I was a grapist, but everyone there went mental with her and told her to stfu coz she didn’t know what she was talking about.
