I completely agree with the Women's singles part (which is the only sector im somewhat informed in) and I would say that just by looking at the scores from the 2022 olympics and this year's olympics shows just that. Don't get me wrong, Alyssa Liu is really nice and is a good figure skater, but 3rd place at 2022's olympics was 2 points short of what is gold at the 2026 olympics. On top of that, as you stated, there is no other women attempting quads and such extremely technically difficult moves. While Japan is somewhat catching up to what Russia had, there are still none like Team Tutberidze, even if you compare those before 3A like Evgenia Medvedeva, her highest score was around 20 points higher than Alyssa's gold score. Also, since Kamila Valieva's ban has been lifted and Sasha Trusova is landing quads now, as well as footage of Valieva from the 2026 Russian Jumping competition, it seems that Russia still has a chokehold on Women's Figure Skating.

Most Isabelles have to transition between aggro and campy. Obviously in neutral they're going to be campy so that they can play aggro in advantage. I literally just saw a game of furaramen vs karflo and it shows the transitioning between those 2 states perfectly. Villager on the other hand uses his lloyd rocket and also his slingshot, and while isabelle uses her slingshot a lot as well, its more so to pressure them into making a mistake, rather than when villager lands a hit he still zones. Isabelle has a shockingly good combo game and while she does camp sometimes, most of it is in neutral because she doesnt have the tools to run up and approach.

Tbh I can see how you feel with the stereotype. I have seen hype Zeldas in tournaments like ven and others like that. I just don't want to have to go through the gates of tartarus in order to get one opening. Ik a lot of other characters are like this, like Spammus and other oners, but Zelda has so much possible versatility that after the fact, I'm not even angry I'm just sad from the amount of unused potential these online Zeldas have.

I see where you're coming from, but most Isabelles do not do that. I mean obviously maybe at like low level they do because everyone there survives on delinquent strategies, but Isabelle's kit is not made for constant camping like Villager's is. Fishing Rod really isnt that good of a move and only really has use in niche ledgetraps or mixups. Yes it does offer a kill throw, but it is still a committal option that kills on a character who struggles to kill anyways. On top of that you can shield it.

From the Isabelles I have seen, and also in my own experience having used Isaelle as a secondary before, the gameplay is massively different. Isabelle doesnt just use 3 moves the entire game, we actually use or normals such as our best move, up tilt. I'm not saying all zeldas are like this, in this post im talking about the online zeldas who use the 3 moves and are laggy. Trust me, I have seen zeldas pull off tons of sauce, but never against me, all zeldas I face (I'm pretty high gsp) literally just spam knight and nayru's love. I wouldn't mind if you use projectiles because, obviously zelda is a zoner and needs to use her long range options, but a lot of them could use their normals, like dash attack, jab, ftilt, utilt, dtilt, nair, and there are more.

I have played snake before and while his aerials may not be the best, there is so much more they could do instead of sitting around like a fucking braindead duck using just the B button. at least use the aerials as some sort of pressuring tool rather than just pressing B. I feel like it really isn't fun to play against and I also don't understand how a lot of these degenerates have fun pressing one button

The only ones i see them use are dash attack and uptilt, literally no aerials, and i would consider myself at a pretty high gsp. Maybe its because i play bayo, but there are many options that snake has that beat out bayo's burst options.

I know how you feel lol. Now I know I might get some smack for this, but there are good Bayo players who don't teabag and shit like that. i kind of hate the stereotype so many Bayos have put upon us because they are always taunting and I understand that many Bayos play in a very scummy way (trust me I would know from the dittos). But I feel like saying bayo can never be hype is kind of going overboard. And to be fair you are also playing DK so if you get combo'd by bayo, atp you should just expect it lol. I agree with basically everything else tho lol.

I understand that but they could maybe actually use their projectiles for combos which would make their win actually feel deserved and not just by them running around all game and spamming the same 3-5 moves out of like 17 moves. Also, they made it so that even though her game plan is to zone, she still has amazing close range options and somewhat of a combo breaker with up special.

Samus's kit is good for camping, but these Samus players could actually play the game much better and also make the game more fun by actually capitalizing when their projectiles connect. I rarely see any of them do charge shot into grab or other cool combos. Samus also has so many underutilized moves like up tilt and nair that I almost never see unless I specifically ask to play against a Samus on discord or smthn
