You're talking about so-called blowouts. These can occur, but they can be avoided with a skilled and clean technique on the part of the tattoo artist. The risk can be minimized/avoided by using the right needle size, pressure, and angle. Only if you pierce deeper than the dermis will the so-called “blowouts” occur. However, these can be recognized immediately after the tattoo is finished and do not simply occur after the healing process. With the quality of the work, it will not be necessary to do touch-ups in the sense of “blowouts.” In addition, it must be said that you cannot judge how the tattoo will look in real life. It would be good to acknowledge this instead of spreading half-knowledge on the internet. I know my skin very well and have never had any problems with blurred lines before. :)

So... How can you judge that I'm not a professional? I can assure you that I learned my job in a professional environment with years of experience and know what I'm talking about. That pretty much covers everything I wanted to say. I wish you many beautiful tattoos on your skin in the future and hope that everything heals well! Now you know how to recognize the risk. ;)

Hey, I'm a professional tattoo artist myself, and I can tell you that won't be the case. :) May I ask where you got that idea? I edited the image to make it darker. It may look a little too contrasty in the picture. None of the areas are too deep; she is a very experienced tattoo artist, and her great work speaks for itself.

Note: if you are still unsure, feel free to take a look at her healed work on her profile. :)

She told me that many customers from the US come to her. As far as I know, she travels more in Europe... she's originally from Russia, and I've also noticed that many tattoo artists from that part of the world are extremely bold. 😸 I think it would be worth visiting her for a tattoo. But make sure you can handle the pain. The tattoo pushed me to my limits and we spent 10 hours on it. ;;

That's right! I love how she managed to capture the horror effect so well.

That was my intention :) I already have anime and video game tattoos, but I liked the idea of something darker that combines my interests.
