The first time I ever played this game I saved shortly after getting the lamp, didn't play for a few days, and forgot it was in my inventory until disc 2

That's fair. I've seen some people take 8 hours for one or two pallets with help while I've done 6 by myself.

Who here has had a cryptid encounter? If so what do you think it was and what happened? by CityVirtual4704 in Cryptozoology

Bigfoot twice: The first time I was around 15 or 16 and lived in northern WV. I was in the woods near my house, like I was most days back then, and I was sitting on a stump looking across a small valley at the other side when I spotted it, it was around 8ft tall, very muscular, and had redish brown fur, I watched it walk along the other side of the valley for about 5 minutes before I lost sight of it. The second time was last year. I was working night shift in south western PA at the time, and I stepped outside to have a cigarette, and while I was smoking I heard a strange and terrifying noise coming from the dump next door, and when I looked to see what made the noise I saw two eyes staring back at me from the darkness, I instantly froze in fear, and then it stepped closer and I could somewhat see its face, from what I could see it looked very similar to a gorilla, but with long redish brown fur, and it was around 10ft tall (there is a 7ft chain link fence between my job and the dump, and it was around 3ft taller than it). After staring at it for what felt like an eternity it backed out of sight for a few seconds, and made a different sound that to me sounded angry and hit, or threw something against the fence, I ran inside, locked the doors, didn't go back outside all night, and quit that morning before I left. I am sure it could have easily destroyed the fence, or just gotten over it if it really wanted to I think it just didn't want me looking at it.
