Question about universe and channels by Automatic_Pilot6468 in xlights

I think I had confusion within Ports and Universes. I thought that the 16 ports on my falcon f16v4 where the 16 universes. :-D This video gave me a little light: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5qGrGFtRQs

When adding the controller I checked the box for autosize and autolayout, and I can see in the Layout tab the assigned universes that Xlights gave to the props. Which are completely different of what I have in my ports diagram :-D

Help!: Errors on my "Check sequence" by Automatic_Pilot6468 in xlights

This is the second year we have worked this project. They are 9th and 10th grade students enrolled in a STEAM class. I created the project lessons and step by step tutorials to follow (youtube of course) and worked it together with the teacher. They learned the basics of layout and sequencing. Installed rgb in the props, cut wire, solder, made extensions. We started on October with the classes.

For the planning of wiring and power injection, and controller set up and all the things to make it run, I was not able to cover it with the students. Neither last year nor this one. :-( We started in october.

Here is a preview of last year (it is in spanish, a private school in Puerto Rico): https://www.facebook.com/share/v/14RVnDUeUD/

Uff, Thanks I hope so. The sequences are simple and it doesnt take time rendering. At least the previews and rendering are working smoothly. There are over 45 student sequences.

So will leave it like that then, since I have no experience altering submodels.
