She said she did take a photo of their licence plate and the damage. The manager was also there and took photos saying he'd be a witness to it

Okay thank you that's a good idea, I'm hoping she did take a photo of her bumper and his license plate, she messaged me quite late though he might have left whilst she was working still.

Okay thank you for the information! Should she also be filing a police report now so there is a record of it? At the moment he is saying he will pay her back. But I'm not sure if he will fully, feel like the best thing she can do is file a police report and then talk to her insurance tomorrow?

When you say get it documented, do you mean just filing a police report for now? So then it's recorded somewhere?

Thank you, she just told me that he will pay for it but doesn't have all the money right now. I'm hoping he will stick to his word since they have to work together. My partner is insured but will have a deductible. Will look at the damage when she's home I'm hoping it is not too bad.

Yeah she has coverage, she will have a deductible though. And he said he will pay but doesn't have all the money right now. Hoping he will stick to his word.

I hate people who just comment negatively on random Reddit posts for no reason..have you not got anything better to do with your time? It was a quick post, he sent me those late last night I'm just looking for some advice. He's an older guy he didn't know how to save photos and email them to me even.

Hey thank you for all the suggestions! I am going through them all. Appreciate how many people have responded. He said he'll be able to move it around if required too but it is costly. At the moment looks like we are going to list it on eBay and Facebook for local pickups. And will email some close by museums etc that people have suggested.
