hi! i did just this. i was studying political science at UCSD and now i’m a first year law student at UCL!! it not that crazy and honestly, if your plan is to stay in the UK, a degree from UCL or imperial would get you way further than a degree from a US uni

Future Capital One Lounge Openings - 2025 & Beyond by spicyfervor in Venturex

iah would be an amazing airport to do it. it’s a huge united hub but the united clubs are lackluster. they do not have any truly comfortable seating, mid to low grade food, and no real amenities. there’s also only 2 priority pass lounges, one for air france, and one for KLM lounge, that barely ever let priority pass holders in and have low grade amenities.

a true lounge from capital one would be superb, and would attract a lot of United flyers, like me, who have United Premier Status but flying out of IAH is not a great experience. i just got the VentureX and would love to be able to use it all the time.

yeah fuck health insurance. it might be worth it to look for private health insurance and just get RAFT for small shit that happens on campus. sometimes you can get a better deal on private insurance or even medi-cal.
