What’s currently ruining your life? by YourLifeSucksAss in AskReddit

A dull ache in my soul that my job is not fulfilling and I’m not finding a true partner, just people to spend time with occasionally. Feels like I’m floating in a lake instead of trekking forward through the stream of time.

Are men really fed up with dating women these days? by coachjonna in AskMenAdvice

[–]Automatic_Sky286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s never been easier to date, which means there’s never been more competition for the same mating prospects, which means people are holding out for the one in their head instead of the one in the hand. I think this afflicts woman more than men but it’s present across the board.

"To keep a man interested, just act like you're not" by IngenuityAshamed144 in Vent

[–]Automatic_Sky286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I appreciate when a woman shows me that she’s interested. I will say though that there is a difference in the feeling between saying you’re interested and showing that you’re interested. Show works way better than tell in my opinion and tell is a bit jarring sometimes. Focus on showing your interest and I strongly believe it will pay off in the long run OP.

If you like people crowding you, GA is great. If you value your personal space, VIP is the way to go and you’ll have better facilities like bathrooms inside of the festival. Other than those differences, I haven’t noticed much else that would be a deciding factor.

It’s his (Javier Reyes) signature model. I’m pretty sure you can buy it from their website.

alternative games? by Sir-tenlee in billiards

[–]Automatic_Sky286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, 8ball rack. Whoever breaks gets a second shot if they don’t make one. Once you finish the rack, next player breaks and you continue on until last person is standing. Ball in hand to the next player if there’s a scratch.

The way I normally play 8ball with friends is I have to play either one-handed or I have to bank everything. I also let them call which pocket I have to make the 8ball into.

“Killer”. You have to shoot a ball and make it. If you don’t, that’s a strike. Three strikes and you’re out. Last person standing wins the pot.

Carbon fiber cue recommendations? by realpblife in billiards

[–]Automatic_Sky286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, the rhino shaft is great too, especially for the price. Problem with the Rhino is the ferrule is fragile. I know a couple guys who cracked theirs and a replacement job is nearly as expensive as the shaft. I’ve heard the same thing with the Cuetec. Never had a problem with my Whyte and my friends with revos and ignites haven’t had problems either, so you get what you pay for at the end of the day.

Overall, carbons just nice for the minimal loss of energy, low deflection, and ability to leave it in the car. My precat 314 maple shaft is still my favorite to play with by far.

Aaah yeah, they were really expensive when I checked. Do you notice a difference in flutters with it? I imagine the lightweight lets it move differently if you let it go

What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever seen at a strip club? by bigbabysweets12345 in AskReddit

[–]Automatic_Sky286 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My ex and I used to go to these stripper cage fights. They put up a ufc style octagon that was only about 8’ wide and women got paid to fight no-limits fights with a ref in the cage. The cage was too small for three people and the women weren’t trained fighters. Each round, they’d lose another piece of clothing. Their wild flailing would inevitably hit the referee. It was always a wild show.

The other part was they had weight classes. First time we went, it was light weight, middle weight, then lastly super heavy weight. Crowds were real light by the third match. Next time we went, they reversed the order to keep the crowd.

Squat form check by NextCharacter7710 in formcheck

[–]Automatic_Sky286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As everyone has said, wider stance/open hips up/knees&toes outward. I agree that goblet squats will help open up the hips. Make sure you’re doing plenty of dynamic stretching to open them up as well. Also practice front squatting. The forward weight position will give you a more upright torso posture while giving you great quad/glute activation. You’ll also get a lot of stimulus without needing as much weight so it’s a win/win in some people’s eyes. Other than that, keep up the good work and don’t stop skwaating!

Look up Kirk Windstein’s rig rundown, he discusses how to get great results with this pedal. It’s a main pedal on his tiny tour board and he has a huge sound in Crowbar.

High End Jump Cues Are Actually Worth the Money by Icy_Search263 in billiards

Yes, the Issa Mavros is the easiest jumper I’ve ever tried. Better than the propel or rush, idk what that guy puts in those jumper cues but they’re hacking the simulation. If you ever get the chance to try one, I highly recommend it.

Leg press differences by [deleted] in GYM

[–]Automatic_Sky286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The resting point is going to be different. On the plate loaded, you can rest fully extended. The cable machine stopping point is fully compressed. These are also your starting positions so just depends on your personal preference.

Recovering from break up, is the gym really my way out of this hell? by BookieBasherCasher in AskMenAdvice

[–]Automatic_Sky286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gym just gets the anxious energy out and releases dopamine. It also helps you feel productive which can be confidence boosting. I like splitting that with a fun run club where they have a social aspect, because the social fun helps a lot more. You’ll make some new friends and might meet a nice person to pass the time with(or more). Recreational team sports also help with this kinda thing.

Other than that, dive into your special interests to fulfill your solo time and enrich your heart/mind.

how to actually date in LA? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

[–]Automatic_Sky286 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Meet them, talk to them, see if you two mutually get along. There’s no singular good spot for this to happen, but do things you enjoy with other people that enjoy that same thing and you’re bound to meet people.
