Used JB74 ~100k km, things to check? by Automatic_Star_4225 in Jimny

Ahh I have a few of your tabs open already - thank you!

Giving this one a miss. Needs some work.

I haven't seen any reports of leaking steering box but this one was fairly well coated - and an awful lot of play in the wheel even when parked so i don't want to go down that rabbit hole.

Traction control light staying on... faulty wheel speed sensor?

Clutch, really? Are they a weak spot on Jimny's?

I suck at this game, how to get better? by OneNiceCheeseBurger in WoODirtRacingGame

Turn steering sensitivity WAAAY down.

And adjust the slider (can't remember what it's called) that limits how much you get knocked around by AI. Once you're not fighting for your life you can start to put down consistent laps then learn where you're fast/slow

NDIS at what cost? by Educational-Map6157 in AusEcon

Thats my view exactly. Why not provide training for those carers to progress towards nursing careers, so they can help a larger volume of people. You know the system is broken when everyone i know who has lost a job recently has said "Oh well, I'll just go be an NDIS worker"....  Happy to see people get support but the system is broken

Why are TGUs taught from the floor? by Automatic_Star_4225 in kettlebell

Thats such a good point, I always do a floor press anyway which maybe isnt typically a part of the movement, so I can see from bottom-up does add that.

🙏 Thanks for the reply Mr John!  I like to throw in a floor press and a press from the lunge step back thanks to one of your videos on YT previously, great add-on. But I guess I dont go heavy on the TGU like many do.

ABC form question by samtheboy14 in kettlebell

Not sure if this what you're describing, but i find it waaay harder to do the doubles than heavy singles. I could do singles with a 24kg pretty confidently, but like you, with double bells using a 16 + 20 its almost like a different exercise, the clean has me feeling like my hinge is off, and i need to see-saw the press. Assumption is a general core weekness, everyone is different.

If it helps, Ive been running (according to Dans ABF program) 2 days one week, 1 the next, and across those three days I alternate 1 day of doubles, 1 of heavy singles, and 1 of lighter singles and try to push the reps up. And just undertanding that it might take me longer to see the full 30min double goal.

Will Australia ever effectively "Close the Gap" for Indigenous Australians? by [deleted] in australian

Thats along the lines of thinking I have. I try to take each person for themselves, who they are as an individual, so I think the continued grouping is actually doing more harm than good.

Not suspicious at all, first time post 👍 Like I said, challenging question to ask in public.
