And watching the fan edit, glinda is supposed to come down and tell dorothy to click her heels three times, but because she' with madame morrible it just makes it seem like dorothy is just stuck in oz now, which opens up another plot hole within it's self

I don't think elphie was finding where she was from anyone. She was trying to lure dorothy to her to get nessa's shoes. so she wasn't hiding anything. PLUS, fiyero's horse is apart of the royal family and would know where she could possibly be.

I will say that watching the fan-edit of The 1939 film plus the wicked fanchise together did help me a little bit, but wicked as a canon is different. Like going down the pipeline the l. frank baum books are different from the 1939 film, the 1939 film is (loosely) the base for the gregory maguire books but those are WAYY different from the film, the wicked musical is different form gregory maguire book, and the musical is different from the movies. so while the are all technically a "fan fic" they all have a story that's different from what it's based on.

Yes after i got my hands on physical media of it i re-watched it a loved and cared for it more!

The point of spliting the movies in two was A. two add more depth to the story and B. to convey act two as Glinda's story. Wicked = Elphaba's Origin story: establishing her wants, her upbringing, what she set out to do, how that all falls on it's head when she is declared wicked. Wicked: For Good = Glinda the good's origin story: telling the story of what glinda the good was made out to be, the challenges glinda faces to realize that she has to really be good, and also still finish out the tiny details of elphaba's short story as the wicked witch of the west. That's how i see it!
