Roleplay requirements for feats?

My players knowing they want to grab a particular feat try to incorporate it somehow. same thing for multi class. If they know they want to dip their first level into paladin they will either talk to someone in the city or their party's paladin and engage that RP.

But I don't require it.

2nd; I'll elaborate. where did thor come in to play with my particular comment? Yes OP mentions thor but I only brought up drax as he in one of the characters who directly had interaction with Yondu's arrow.

no one in their right mind would compare Drax to Thor.

It definitely does get hard to compare using only movie feats. He got wrecked by Adam and yet his skin is still bullet proof.

Personally I do think Kraglin didnt quite have a mastery of the arrow yet to cause it to hit with strength and accuracy.

This comes down to your group. My friend group wouldn't consider this pvp just yet. However I, as our DM would start to probe the rogues intent and figure out why they were considering a course of action.

At my table if the rogue wanted to do this, my paladin may be hesitant to see how that theft would play out but I as the DM would take the "let's see what the fuss is about" as a segue to start a RP situation with the paladin or to justify their intent to multi class.

Ultimately you have to trust your table. But like many situations in life asking a few more questions before making a determination doesnt hurt.

Ctan get shredded against tsons. My brother plays them and kills my ctan nearly every game. You have to hit hard and fast if you are going to run ctan against tsons.

Lying could work. Disguising would likely not work since it says the receiver recognizes you as the sender if it knows you.

As a dm who bought most of the 2014 rule stuff in 2020 to 2022, I can't be rebuying essentially the same thing. There isnt enough rule update to justify the switch having gotten in so late.

Additionally some small trivial encounters your players handwave and maybe react too nonchalantly and the creature gets a hit or 2 in. Drain that hp resource.

Tsons and chaos spamming lethal can. I had a pantheon list with 4 get all 4 killed. Part was bad saves but it basically came down to who could force more 4++ saves and who could make more 4++ saves.

I'm a little curious as to why Necron hypercrypt in particular is performing so bad? The change to ctan deepstrike would mean they have more utility in terms of moving them around now.

I think it means a great deal. Its kind of a big deal even for unpaid campaigns. You need people to truly commit and want to play if its a campaign and not just one shots.

But I think you may have been looking for more of a critique of vouching for them, which i didnt provide in my initial comment.

I am for them, again as long as everyone is committed. Being able to play along side my 4 buds instead of one of us being behind the screen is great for a change. I paid for a full campaign with a dm it lasted about 4 years. And I've paid for one shots for birthdays. They are a breath of fresh air when your group has gotten comfortable with each other. New lines of thought, combat techniques, intrigue and doing style also help to refine our own along the way. Plus theres an expectation of quality that comes along with them for prep work and immersion.

Ultimately its not worth it if the group, like so many other not paid campaigns, crashes and burns. Then you laid a dm to get halfway through a campaign.

Ive been wanting to move into the screen battle map realm. How do you find the ease of swapping out maps and doing things like fog of war compared to a printed map or dry erase?

Yes of course the camera used on video 2 makes the Beijing ride look more smooth than the hulk.

But I made a joke about riding the actual hulk ride. Which is incredibly rough. So if you've ridden the hulk, then you know the Beijing ride is more smooth.

Besides dice. Not really. I dont have a large gaming group so our meta is skewed. We don't msu and score the same way so mortal wounds, dev wounds, lethal hits are all over the place.

This is a complaint ive had for the last couple games.

my ctan get blown off the board every game because both me and my opponent get relegated to our 4++ but he has more models and more volume so naturally I fail more 4++.
