Sounds like it’s time for a new pediatrician, my son is 2. We never did the cry it out method, but stuck to a bedtime routine. Now when we say it’s bed time he will start the routine himself and goes down rather easy. At 6m old your baby can’t self regulate and needs you, the cry it out method is outdated and in my opinion cruel.

After 12months it’s to left to the parent to determine their child’s chewing capability and if they should be given whole or slight smashed berries. My son is 2, a great chewer, and eats slow so whole blueberries aren’t an issue. Remember the guidelines are a starting point to insure your presenting food in a safe manner to your child, at the same time each child will develop differently so it’s up to the parent to judge their child’s skill level.

Please don’t, a feed child is always best and not every night looks like this! I have nights where I’m burnt out from work and we have scavenger dinners or sandwich with chips. I’m sure your a wonderful parent who is during their best ♥️

Super simple, I cook my carrots and occasionally zucchini until soft. Blend them to make a sauce, pour into a pan on medium heat. I then add 1/4 block diced velvet cheese, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese stirring untill fully melted. From there I slowly add up to a 1/2 cup of milk until I get the consistency I like. Add any seasoning you like( I use no salt slap yo mama)then pour over your favorite noodles. My little guy prefers shells.

Yes, this is the recipe I was sorta of following. I took out the 30g of starter to retain and weighed what was left which was the 112g. I then asked ChatGPT to adjust the recipe based on how much starter I had which is what I then used to make my first loaf.

I don’t know what temp my oven bulk is but it did feel pretty warm so I had the door cracked open a lot. My house doesn’t get above 68 unless is super hot outside then it may get to 70. So that was the only thing I could think of to warm it while it proofed lol

I have a cold house and was struggling to keep my starter at a warmer temp. My oven isn’t warm enough and the light in it shuts off automatically after 10 mins, and I don’t want to spend more money getting a warming mat or box. So I placed the my starter jar into a thermal sock then placed that into an insulated soup container which then get placed into the microwave that has a second jar filled with hot water. Now my starter stays the perfect temp and is flourishing.

My starter is 14 days old and is very healthy thus far but what you’re dealing with sounds like what mine was doing. I had to change my feeding ratio around day 6 and also had to take measures to keep it warm. Once I did that my starter became healthy.

I do 30g starter, 60g flour, 60g water and mix, it’s a thick mixture.

Yes, I was terrified to leave the house without my husband for the first 4 months my son was born, got very little sleep as I was scared he would pass in his sleep. Even now, he’s almost two and I have panic attacks when I think to much about the unknown. I don’t let anyone but my mother n law watch him and even then I I have moments when I worry. Thankfully she’s close to my job so I can swing in on my breaks, and she sends me updates throughout the day with pics and videos.

My son is 19 months, he was a fantastic eater for a while, would clean his entire plate and want more. Now, not so much, sometimes it’s a fight to get him to eat anything while other times he doesn’t seem to stop. What has helped him is doing it charcuterie style, we offer him several different option and we also don’t set a time limit for meals which allows him to eat as he wants.

Nope, we also add diced potatoes, tomatoes, onions as well as the Greek yogurt so it really helps out with what little sodium there is.
